No surprise... management is terrible and it starts with Woody.
Sanchez and Revis are happy though.

Good. The last thing management should be concerned with is being popular. If Rex felt winning was more important than being liked he'd be a more successful HC.

Anybody getting upset at this article is a phony, at. 2-9 what the hell else should the team be doing other than playing their younger players more to develop them and evaluate them for whether or not they will be a big part on the future or not?
The article is stupid and redundant!

And who will develop those younger players? Wrecks and his top-notch coaching staff?

I hope management doesn't want to win anymore this year.
If true, praise John Idzik. The tank is in full effect.
Guys like Dawan Landry, Calvin Pace, Jason Babin, Willie Colon, etc have no business taking playing time away from some of the young guys like Pryor, Jarrett, Reilly, IK, and Dozier at this stage.
We're 2-10
As a fan, I'm long past giving two shits about anymore wins this season.

Sounds like an aging vet worried about his paycheck next year. This season is completely lost. Lose as many games as possible and get the lowest draft pick. If it means playing the young players instead of the washed up vets, so be it.

Thought they were playing hard for Rex. It seems like they still are. The way I take the comment is that management (ex. Idzik) is focusing on next year and getting Geno on the field rather than trying to win games. If that's the case, the Geno is being forced on Rex, then Rex is trying to win by minimizing Geno....and it almost worked against a playoff-bound Dolphins team. The Jets ran the ball down Miami's throat and dig a pretty good job against a competent Miami offense.....but the coaches' strategy was obviously to tie the quarterback's hand behind his back. It's amazing that it almost worked.

We're 2-10 As a fan, I'm long past giving two shits about anymore wins this season. Understood, but that's where different groups of people (stakeholders) around the Jets have diverging interests. Players still want to win and want to perform so that they're valued, get better contracts, etc. They are not about tanking. Coaches still want to win and want to perform so that they either keep their jobs or can more easily get new ones with other teams next year. They are not about tanking. Management wants to evaluate younger players it seems for the future even at the expense of losing. Management, ownership may want to lose for better draft positioning. Fans are more divided but I think most side with you in wanting what management seems to want...look to the future, know what we have, and get better draft positioning. So we have a situation where the people who will likely still be "with the Jets" next year (fans, management/ownership) want one thing....but guys who may lose jobs because of losing game (coaches, players) want something else!
