I was looking at this guys tape. He is definitely a guy we should target in Round 2. He can be the 3-4 edge player that we are looking for that can get to the QB. He is also stout against the run, is a very smart player and is seen as a team leader. Only negative I see are that he needs to use his hands better because at times he gets locked up with bigger Olinemen. I believe this can be corrected and if he improves his technique he can be a stud in this league.

So if we decide to pass on an edge guy in round 1, I would love if our draft went as follows: 1) Amari Cooper 2) Preston Smith 3) Duke Johnson 4) Havenstein/Darryl Williams
Thoughts?

From everything I'm reading and seeing, it sounds like round 2 might be too high for him.

From everything I'm reading and seeing, it sounds like round 2 might be too high for him. I hear ya...on paper. But this guy came on like gangbusters last year...he is physical, a complete player, and has some speed as well. Whoever gets this guy is getting a perennial pro-bowler.

He is a bigger DE prospect that doesnt really have a quick burst off the line. He may have some long speed, but I don't think he is what this defense needs.

I think that's too high
Harold and Mauldin are the two guys I would target at the top of Round 2 if we go WR or QB at #6.
