Not too sure you'd rank him above Watkins I know I would and I just happened to mention this on the main forum. In watching Cooper, he has great balance and moves well during the entire catch and run sequence without the choppiness that Watkins displays. Sammy is not a good route runner but uses his speed and strength to get any separation. In college, most of his yards were from handoffs and screens (over 70%) with many of the rest of his big plays simply fly routes where his speed could beat college CB's. Cooper has shiftiness and balance and control. Far more at ease and keeps safeties guessing as to what he will do next as he doesn't tip off his routes and runs smooth controlled patterns.
In comparing him to last year's WR's, he's most definitely a full step above Watkins but close to Beckham although Odell has more explosiveness and I'd rate OBJ higher. I can't fathom how nearly everyone missed on OBJ. If you watched the tape on him you would've seen he was far and away the very best WR in last year's draft. What he's doing now without the help of Cruz to garner attention should give you a hint at his abilities for someone who missed TC and half the season. He's going to be a star.
As for Watkins, I personally think he was the most overhyped player I've seen since Vernon Gholston due to the way he got his yardage in college. I don't think he'll ever approach Beckham or Cooper when it's all said and done. Evans? I don't have much of an opinion on him. I never considered him to be a complementary option for the Jets opposite a similar type WR in Decker. I think he could be productive but I wouldn't be surprised if he were quiet.

Evans already has almost 1000 yards and 11TDs in thirteen games playing with a shit QB. And he just turned 21 in august.
