In my opinion it won't be legit until one is hanging around Flavor Flav's neck!
And you just know SAR is buying one for each wrist and probably one for his dick.

For real, that shit looks dumb as fuck. If you're that worried about being connected to the internet why don't you just live inside a fucking computer already! FUCK!

I never once looked at my phone and said, "Man. It's SUCH a pain in the ass to look at it's screen. It would be SO much easier if the screen was much smaller, more expensive and strapped to my wrist so I can bump it into things 20 times a day"...

I can't say that I won't get one eventually but not anytime soon....I'll wait for version 2.0 as the inevitable first batch of complaints come in about having to charge your watch everyday, people scratching it on stuff, and the watch accidentally dialing mom just as you're fingering the wife with that hand.

I haven't said that either, but I have looked at peoples phones and said "Jesus fuck, that's ridiculously large for a fucking phone."

Apple is only a few years behind Android on this "innovation."

Apple is only a few years behind Android on this "innovation." I don't care for the Apple watch - but the Samsung android wearables were about as svelte/fashionable as a parolee ankle monitoring bracelet. The real 'innovation' would be actually creating a market for this stuff.

If you want to innovate and change the market, or create a market....then offer a watch that needs to be charged monthly (or at a minimum, weekly). Make it light and deliver truly compelling functionality.

I love gadgets and I can't see the point of them though. I am with PK in that taking out my phone isn't that big of a hassle.

I've been wanting one of those fitness band trackers like the Fitbit - that's pretty much the main selling point of these watches at this point. Agreed that there's not much use beyond that, for now at least.
