I am pretty convinced that this years WR could be deeper than last years class. You have your usual suspects in Cooper, White, Parker, DGB and Strong. All these guys could go in the first round. Then you got the 2nd tier who could also be solid starters in the NFL like Agholor, Dorsett, Perriman, Smith, Lockette, Funchess, Hardy and Greene. Then you got high upside guys like Tre McBride, Crowder, Bell, Lippett, and Dezmin Lewis. This draft is chock full of receivers and I think the Jets will come out with at least a 2nd tier guy from this draft.
Ideal 2nd tier guys IMO would be: Agholor- He is a short to intermediate pass catcher who might be the best route runner in this draft save for Cooper. Dorsett- Has the speed to blow the top off defenses but can also run routes and catch the football. McBride- Good speed and can make big plays, he is also a very competitive kid. Can play special teams as well Lockette- Good route runner and pass catcher, would excel in slot and can play special teams. He can be used all over the field a la Percy Harvin.
Thoughts? What receivers would you like the Jets to target?

I think they're neck and neck. Picking one over the other is somewhat trivial, but I will say that I don't agree with some analysts who say last year's top guys were better. Last year had great receivers well into the mid rounds, but this year's crop looks equally as strong - and with little more diversity, and better small school prospects.
It's a real fucking shame that Lame dick Idzik couldn't pull the trigger on a Bryant or Brown, cause we could have totally overhauled our entire offense between 2014-2015 drafts... instead, we're having to accomplish that inside of this one.

At the same time that is the only reason that limp dick piece of shit is gone. Cause he was disaster drafting last season. Somewhat of a catch-22, though I doubt it makes you feel better Paradis lol

The biggest thing that pisses me off about JI folding is the plethora of Idzik threads, filled with people waving his flag... boy did i want to necro those threads.

To me his FA would have been manageable if he hadn't completely fucked up the draft. Granted it was near impossible to do well in the draft given that he did nothing in FA. He was such a uniquely shitastic fuck up

I like our WR corps and what they bring too the table but they strike me as all "possession" WRs.

I don't usually like guys from USC, but Agholor is a guy I like a heck of a lot... He's a first round talent who should be there in rd. 2.
