Spending a few days in Beantown at a work conference, yeah me!
Company took so long to approve the trip that I couldn't fly into Boston (too expensive) so I'm flying JFK and renting a car
** traffic better not be as bad as last June when I did this -- over an hour to get to Whitestone bridge **
Only good thing is that I can visit my mother and other family in CT on the drive up.
Missed my mom's milestone birthday in March because my husband was too sick for me to leave home.
Will get to see my nieces, too. Should be fun.
Flight is at 6 am tomorrow morning, out of the house by 3:30-4:00 am. What the hell was I thinking, but it's the only nonstop.
That's not the worst part -- driving back to JFK on Saturday morning, then a short (!) 4:45 flight back here.
I'm tired already, just thinking about this trip.
