Mariota/Cooper and Ray would be tits

Ray/Gregory, both top 15 picks now dropping like rocks if this report is true.

If this is true, then it all but guarantees that the Jets are either going with a WR or taking Mariota if he's there at #6.
I think Fowler and Beasley go Top 5 and even though I really like Dupree, I doubt anyone in the front office has him rated higher than Cooper or White. Probably not even Gurley.

Lol, I thought of you brother when I read the news this morning. Can we have our cake and eat it too? I think so. I wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility to sneak up a few spots and grab him at the bottom of rnd 1

I was about to start waving the Gurley flag, then I saw you tag at the end. Gurley should be right underneath Cooper. He's now a legitimate possibility at 6. ...it's laughable that people have White over Gurley IMO. Whites come out every year.

The problem with two top 10/15 pass rushers falling is that it pushes the other ones up - Eli Harold could go middle part of round one at this rate. The question is who will be on the board in round 2 for us if we go WR with the first round pick? Both Gregory and Ray could be there with red flags. Mayock has 8 WRs as round one level talents in this draft, I suspect that's close to a lot of team boards; that's a lot more than the pass rushers whose numbers in the top bracket seem to be thinning every day. I WAS on board with getting a WR at number 6, now I'm not so sure.

I tend to agree White is a freak specimen, but Cooper and Gurley are legitimately 2 of the Top 5 overall players in the draft.

If Mariota, Winston, Fowler, and Beasley are off the board...then Cooper is a given. It should take a second, no, less than a second to turn in the card. If Cooper goes to the Raiders, then I think you look hard at Gurley, Dupree and White.

^ ^ yeah unfortunately I think Cooper will be gone, we just needed one more super top-5 talent in this draft at a position of need for 2 of the teams above us, oh and Al Davis to still be alive to have a realistic chance of getting him. The top 5 picked I think will be the two QBs, Williams, Fowler and Cooper - and when all is said and done Cooper is probably a top 3 player overall, though he won't get picked in the top 3.
Edit: if anyone is going to fall I to us I think it will be Fowler.

Byron Jones, world record long jumper.

I recognize that most think that way, but I'm going to again say for the record that Parker is a better option if the cards fell that way. I think just about every scout knows that Parker's ceiling is higher, they just like Cooper virtually indestructible floor. Parker Gurley

Parker Gurley If we were to take Parker over White, then I'd have absolutely no problem with it. But I can't make a case for taking him over Cooper. Yeah, Parker might have two inches on Cooper, but Cooper was born to play wideout. Kid does absolutely everything and really the only flaw you could possibly find is that he's prone to concentration drops here and there. But then when you take into account how often he was targeted in Bama's offense, it's more forgivable. Cooper isn't just amazingly gifted, he also has an almost legendary work ethic and drive. The thing that seperates good players from great players. To me, there isn't a more perfect fit at #6 if both the QB's are gone.
