Sorry, Bing -- didn't stay positive for long. Decided to take a look at what we got with the picks acquired for Vilma when we moved him to New Orleans. And this one hurts a bit.
We acquired the Saints 4th round pick in 08 (113 overall) and their 3rd in 09 (76 overall). We traded pick 113 and pick 36 in 2008 to GB to move up and select Dustin Keller. With our pick #36, GB took Jordy Nelson. We eventually made another trade in the 4th round with GB to get back our pick # 113 and took Dwight Lowery. We moved up to get a solid tight end. GB moved back and took an All Pro.
We also traded the #76 pick in 2009 to Detroit to move up and select Shonn Greene. Shonn Greene had the one big playoff run for us in his rookie year (I was really excited about him as a potential feature back after that 09 season). Detroit used our 76th pick to select DeAndre Levy. We moved up to take a back-up RB. Detroit moved back and got an All-Pro.

The history of the Jets! well maybe. at least it showed they were trying to get decent players. keller wasn't great at te but he wasn't jolley or brady. greene had some good games and his biggest knock was not being played. as for vilma, very good player too bad he was undersized for the 3-4.
