Everybody is looking at QB or Cooper. Another player to monitorleading up to the draft is Dorial Green-Beckham, he was supposed to be better than Cooper, was on his way to becoming one of the top picks in the draft. We know the story, busted for marijuana, suspended, now with Oklahoma...
I think he is a player that will rise in the off-season, but where will he end up?
Personally, I want Cooper before Mariota, and I'm not even sure we should touch Winston, and we don't even know how his off thefield issues and distractions will impact his draft stock, andfrankly, I want a smart player if we are going to draft a QB, and Winston, despite his talen, has displayed an immaturity more than he has a smart and capable QB worthy of a top pick...
If I had my choice, I want Cooper...
But if not, QB, OT, CB all go into the equation...
Maybe, if Beckham explodes leadingup to the draft, is the next option after Cooper?
Only question is, how high will he rise, is he too much of a risk?

So this thread was moved to the draft forum, while several other draft worthy threads remain in the main forum. And now VTN is a fucking mod?

I LOVE him, but returning or declaring could be the difference between a first round selection next year (possibly top 10) or falling heavily this year.

Only question is, how high will he rise, is he too much of a risk? Mariota above Cooper above Beckham. QB continues to be our biggest need, so if we are in a position to draft a high potential QB we should do it. I don't think I take Beckham unless it's in the late 1st round. He is as risky as Winston in my book. As for VTN moving your post here it makes a lot of sense. You are discussing a bunch of specific prospects and which one is better than the other. Not just a we need to lose to get Mariota, which is more of a general Jets topic that would stay on the Runway. Quit crying about everything, it's not a big deal that it's in the draft forum.

DGB way higher ceiling and Cooper way higher floor.
Kind of reminds me of the whole OBJ and Jarvis Landry leading up to the draft.
One is a freak of nature and the other has great production and numbers.
Only difference is DGB has way more red flags then OBJ and Cooper has higher ceiling then Landry so it's close.

Jets won't draft Cooper if Harvin is back unfortunately. Best hope is that DGB is available in the 2nd round.
