Just saw it today. Stayed surprisingly close to the franchise roots and was just non stop. Literally, what, maybe 12 minutes of downtime? I wasn't sure if I would like Hardy in the lead, but he fucking crushed it. I didn't even notice until today that George Miller (the director of the first 3 movies) was the one in charge of the reboot. I think that's what truly made the difference. Not some young, bright eyed, asshole hollywood director who had visions of hacking the series to shit and specifying it to his own vision...but the guy who created the franchise in the first place. Guy was finally given the budget to make an amazing movie This flick just gave me even more assurance that, if they really want Hardy as the lead...I'd be totally fine with him playing The Punisher in the Netflix Daredevil series (or in his own Netflix series). It also gave me hope that the action genre isn't completely dead and buried. |

And Bill Cosby, but fuck Mel, he is a known racist pig and piece of garbage. Private or not, he said and did what he did and I can't stand to even look at that Nazi loving pig. No, I am not Jewish.
I am looking forward to seeing this movie though, I saw them all and this one looks cool.
Woody Allen supposedly took advantage of kids Bill Cosby supposedly drugged and raped numerous women Mel Gibson said some racist shit to his wife in a pissed off phone call and rambled about jews to the cops when he was shitfaced... Not seeing how they're similar in the least. I'd say Gibson's offense was the least egregious by far. I am pretty sure I compared nothing, but issues regardless and I think Mel is a peice of shit racist pig. I guess you draw the line at rape and pedifiles, that's awesome, me I draw the line at racist abusive ass holes. I don't know, but I give a hundred that says you would not support anyone like Mel dating you daughter, not sure you have one but if u did. I can't support that shit. |

I am going to go out on a limb and say he wouldnt want any of them dating the daughter. It is just funny how if someone says something nowadays it is a career death sentence yet there are people working in those same fields that have battered, raped and even killed people. 10 times out of 10 Id rather have someone say something mean to me than beat, rape or kill me. But thats just me. |

Maybe a romantic comedy but thats about it. |

Maybe a romantic comedy but thats about it. Watch Bronson if you haven't seen it. Probably Hardy's best performance. |

One of my favourite character bits in the movie was where Max is the hood ornament and hooked up to Nux, Max is obviously p*ssed off with the whole situation, then he sees the Interceptor driving past him driven by another War Boy, his eyes widen, and he says...."you take my blood, NOW MY CAR!!!?" like losing the car is a lot more important then losing your blood.
