Two rules: 1) Take a player who was available when the Jets were picking 2) Take a player other than who the Jets actually took
Re-Draft #1
1. (#6) Kevin White - WR 2. (#37) Randy Gregory - OLB 3. (#70) Duke Johnson - RB 4. (#104) Tre Jackson - OG 7. (#223) Brandon Bridge - QB 7. (#224) Rory Anderson - TE
Thoughts: I think we get 3 immediate/eventual starters on offense in White, D. Johnson, and Tre Jackson who steps in at RG on Day 1. This re-draft only takes one defender (Gregory). Two rolls of the dice - Gregory for off field concerns and Anderson at TE who has injury issues but could be a big steal if he stays healthy. We get a developmental prospect at QB in Bridge who may not have much worse odds than Petty of being on a NFL roster in 4 years.
Re-Draft #2
1. (#6) Vic Beasley - OLB 2. (#37) Dorial Green Beckham - WR 3. (#70) Tevin Coleman - RB 4. (#104) TJ Clemmings - OT 7. (#223) Tre McBride - WR 7. (#224) Ifo Ekpre-Olomu - CB
Thoughts: Risk/Reward picks in DGB (who we don't need to make an impact in his first year) and TJ Clemmings (injuries, still some holes in his pass protection). I like the idea of developing Clemmings to possibly replace Brick in a few years. Tevin Coleman at RB and Beasley at OLB are Day 1 starters. No QB taken in this re-draft.
Of course, the benefit of a re-draft is that you know who will be available later which GMs do not know when actually drafting. This is a huge benefit and allows scenarios like the above to play out. Tons of options....A Todd Gurley, Eli Harold, Jalen Strong draft wouldn't be bad either! :-)

No one biting on an opportunity to do a quick re-draft. I'm eager to see what Paradis would have done.

In redraft situation (assuming we're not selecting the same people) I would have gone in a more offense-themed direction because i think the margin of improvement is more dramatic.
1 - Gurley (once in a generation talent a position we needed to beef up) 2 - DGB (i understand why a new regime passed on him, but i think the mentors are here to give him the best shot possible to develop) 3 - Odighizuwa (like his potential) 4 - Z. Smith (take another shot a possible pass rusher) 7 - B. Bridge (developmental QB) 7 - T. Williams NT
That said, i'm at peace now with L. Williams so long as the Jets mix up the scheme up front and get all 4 guys including Coples on the field at the same time. It could be the best defensive front in the modern era... it all comes down to Smith in my books. He needs to develop into more than a poor man's Mike Wallace for this to be ultimately a successful draft... cause ya...DGB, Strong and Hardy.

1. Kevin White (I am happy with the Williams pick, but probably would not have pulled the trigger on him myself) 2. Eli Harold (I know that he was available in the 3rd, but I would taken him here not knowing he was going to slide) 3. Duke Johnson 4. TJ Clemmings 7. Tre McBride 7. Ifo Ekpre-Olumu

Ifo Ekpre-Olumu The more I think about it the more I'm convinced that the only reason we don't have a RB from this draft is because Leonard Williams slid to us. In just about EVERY scenario I've seen the Jets take a OLB then a WR or a WR then an OLB in the 1st and 2nd. Think Beasley and Devin Smith or DGB, or maybe Kevin White and then Eli Harold. It was clear to me all along that the Jets were going to get a WR and OLB early in this Draft....whichever position they didn't get in the 1st they'd likely get in the 2nd. I"m very happy with our Draft but I do think that Williams dropping into the Jets' lap kept us from grabbing a RB in this Draft until we got to the 7th round trade for Stacy. I really like your Re-Draft above. Imagine adding Kevin White, Duke Johnson and TJ Clemmings to this offense after bringing in Marshall and James Carpenter! That would look to be a very solid roster upgrade, not to mention Harold at OLB.

Hopefully the kid is as good as advertised -- I have seen comparisons to Reggie White. Unrealistic to expect him to be at that level, but our defensive front could be the best we have ever had -- potentially right up there with the sack exchange. With our QB situation, we are not going to beat teams like NE, Denver & Indy by outscoring them. We might be able to beat them by generating pressure up the middle and making life miserable for Brady, Manning & Luck. The one problem with my mock it that I took two players with injury risks in Clemmings and Olomu. We have been screwed by guys with injury histories the last two years, so even though there were some big names on the board when we drafted, I ca't really be too upset that we let them pass.
