May 5, 2011Mark Sanchez wraps up his 2nd "Jets West" camp. For the 2nd year in a row, Sanchez put together his informal mini-camp for offensive skill position players, referred to as Jets West. His first camp was hosted in 2010, but 2011 was the year of the lockout and informal player led camps were the only way to bring the team together during the off-season. Attendees at the camp included Braylon Edwards, Dustin Keller, LaDainian Tomlinson, Mark Brunell, Kevin O’Connell, John Conner, Patrick Turner, Jeff Cumberland, Greg McElroy, Brad Smith, Jeremy Kerley, Scotty McKnight, and Joe McKnight. 2 straight AFCCG appearances, late game heroics in the 2010 season, the playoff win in New England, the leadership Sanchez was showing. Everything looked great for this franchise heading into that offseason. Little did we know how quickly it would all fall apart.
