The NFL has a well-documented history of making poor disciplinary decisions that often are overturned when truly independent and neutral judges or arbitrators preside, and a former federal judge has found the commissioner has abused his discretion in the past, so this outcome does not surprise me. LOL. Flats**** fans are insane. They're over there talking about how the NFL has an anti-Patriot agenda and the league wants Belicheat fired.
Here's what Flats**** fans are calling for:
1) Roger Goodsell to be fired.
2) Brady to appeal his suspension, win the appeal and then retire as a FU to the league
3) Belicheat to resign as a FU to the league
4) Kraft to sell the team as a FU to the league
5) Forfeit the first 4 games to show solidarity for Brady.
If 1 through 5 ever happened, I'd throw the biggest party of my life.

Unless the Jets, or (god help us) the bills - or even the phish... no wait, fuck the phish -- unless a team in the AFCE can seize the opportunity to usurp that crown of thorns from Foxborough, then none of this really matters. I know it's only the Bills that play them during that stretch, but we put some distance between us and them during that 4 game stretch..
It ought to be the duty of everyteam NE plays in the first 4 weeks, to fist fuck the patriots.

oh brother now the talking heads are talking about how brady's punishment is too severe considering what they handed out to ray rice a peterson. considering that hillarity clinton has done far worse and also hasn't handed over anything and is going scot free, kind of makes one think about how razy the world is. the thing is, the nfl kinda didn't know what the right thing to do was with rice and peterson. eventually both of those guys sat out for the season so even if the initial reaction was wrong it was made right.
brady needed to be punished. the patsies needed to be punished and the bellichicken needed to be punished. two outta three ain't bad. what hasn't been said is the past 3 cheating scandals have all been associated with josh mcdaniel. he's another guy who probably knew.
