May 14, 2013Slow day in Jet history. Not much to add to Chad's birthday. Only item I could find that is even remotely close to being newsworthy (but not quite) is the signing on May 14, 2013 of rookie free agent WR Marcus Davis. Davis was one of those polarizing prospects coming out of Virginia Tech, 6'3", 230, ran a 4.5 40 with a 39.5" vertical. Great athlete, but never quite able to put it all together on the field. Some thought he might be a mid-round prospect, but he went undrafted. Signed first by the Giants as a UDFA, but was cut immediately after rookie mini-camp. Jets signed him on this day, 5/14/13. He was waived/injured in August of 2013. He is now a back-up WR for the Saskatchewan Rough Riders in the CFL.

chad was a pretty good player first with the jets and then with denver.
