I agree. Trump is cyanide for the Republicans at this point. Don't forget that Reagan had also been the governor of California so he had some political experience in a big state. I think the dem race is about to get interesting. Both Biden and Brown are considering jumping in, and the anti-clinton wing of the Dem party, the one that preferred an inexperienced senator to her, is still alive and strong. They are both waiting for now because if they enter, they become the story rather than Clinton's problems. They don't want to interfere with all of her negative attention. On the Republican side, Trump's not going away. One of the other candidates has to show they have the charisma and hutzpah to take this away from Trump. I've been terribly disappointed in Gov. Walker. Jeb is beyond blah. Fiorina is a great debater, but I do have concerns because I remember a lot of controversy and problems when she ran HP, and I do not know what her other accomplishments are. I think the world of Dr. Ben Carson, but he is not inspiring. Ted Cruz is brilliant, but lets religion creep into his candidacy too much. Rand Paul acts like Libertarianism is a religion. Christie is mean -- we all know he wanted the bridge closed. Kasitch seems OK, but he's got no gravitas. The GOP says they've got a deep bench. I agree. It is "deep". But heck, Jordan's Bulls were deep, but they won Zero championship's without their star player. The GOP needs someone to rise above. Where is our "happy warrior". I am not a big fan of Joe Scarborough (I feel like he compromised some of his views just to be "viewed" as a thinking man by his friends on the left) but will someone, anyone please start talking like this... Sonny you have been dead on in this thread. It seems we are having to decide on which Candidate sucks less than the others for the last few Presidential elections. Social media has been a double edge sword especially for these candidates and the sitting President. Being negative and/or just f@cling up gets all the attention. Being positive makes everyone appear to be soft and naive to the small majority of voters who are actually paying attention this early in the campaigns. Media caters to who is paying attention because they are paying the bills. Trump is making money for all of them right now, but he also is proving that saying dumb shit won't get you booted when you're entertaining the masses ie bringing in money for TV. Hillary is a giant fraud and I hope we end up with 2 viable candidates that want to work with Congress and ignore the fringe groups on both sides.

I heard someone from the draft Biden movement say Hillary has been a wonderful public servant. Public Servant!!! These people line their pockets while doing favors for the powerful and connected. None of them are a public servants. Police and Fireman who risk their lives for us; local town supervisors and school board members who run towns/schools while they already have have full time jobs... they are public servants.

Well said Sonny. I noticed you didn't mention Rubio who seems to be ion the fringe of being considered a top Rep. candidate with Trump, Carson etc. What are your thoughts on him?

I like him. He seems like a good man and is very smart. His lack of experience scares me and he seems a little too timid IMO. I think Fiorina, Rubio & Kasich did the most to help themselves last night. I really believe that the Dems want Trump to win the nomination so he can say or do something stupid that will hand them the next election. Fiorina is an egoist like Trump, only she understands the game. I agree about the other two, although I thought Christie did the best, followed by them. Aside from the weight (unfair), I really don't get why the GOP hasn't warmed to Christie. He's like Trump when it comes to speaking "his mind/telling it like it is", but in a more polished manner. That, plus he actually knows what he's talking about. Christie was born in Newark, New Jersey, the son of Sondra A. (née Grasso) and Wilbur James "Bill" Christie, a certified public accountant. His father is of Scottish and Irish descent, and his mother was of Sicilian ancestry. Will never let an Italian near the presidency ever. Even a half blooded Sicilian. I love Carson but hes to decent of a man for these absolute pieces of shit. Emphasis on Clinton. I will support Trump

It isn't for money and power...he has had that for decades. He doesn't need to kiss ass to special interest groups. He doesn't need to position to change laws to line his pockets...his pockets are already deep and lined. No need to do it for fame...he's already famous. Some might say it's for his ego. Lol. Or for media attention. He already has that. He already has everything that anyone could accuse a candidate to run for for selfish reasons. So why? He stands to lose more than he could gain. And I'm sure he knows that. He didn't get rich by making bad business decisions. Libs will throw out that he claimed bankruptcy. Lol...So what? He says things that rub people the wrong way. True things...Like deport illegals, all of them. I didn't like him at first. But it's hard to not like a guy with no ulterior motives.

I really believe that the Dems want Trump to win the nomination so he can say or do something stupid that will hand them the next election. I think our country needs a president that has a background in problem solving. We've had plenty of attorneys and lawyers (professionally trained liars who attend schools to learn how to lie really really well). But about Trump. I think thinking his nomination is equivalent to handing the dems the election is a dangerous underestimation. Remember, one of the republicans most successful presidents was an actor. The guy is a boorish idiot...a very successful boorish idiot. I wouldn't underestimate him. You'd be surprised the people who would pull the ballot lever for him if it's a choice between him or Hillary. I, for one, refuse to vote for someone just because they think it's "their turn". She has yet to demonstrate she's not just a big fat phoney. The emails, benghazi. What's her ideas? Is she just Obama Lite? Exactly. Everyone in the media is talking about how Trump or the Reps dont lay out specifics but what specifics has Hillary given on anything, ever? What plans did Obama lay out when he was running? Obamacare was passed before anyone ever read it or knew what was in it. I agree about Trump. People keep saying he is going to say something that will bite him in the ass but he keeps saying stuff and coming back. Why is that? Ultimately bc the word police in the media are blowhard bullies just like him, only difference is Trump will out-bully them. I like Ben Carson but I wish he would start with running for Senate or Governor. I dont like career politicians (Hillary, Biden) but I also want someone with a little record. We cant afford to have people learning on the job again. I would really love to get away from the Clintons and Bushs. TL;DR We are fvcked. Im moving to Mexico.

I like Rubio, but he needs more experience. The last thing we need is another guy in the White House who has not even completed one term as a Senator and who has never been a governor or run a large business. I get the impression that even he knows he can not win and is running for the "experience". He should really run for governor of FL before POTUS.
