7/27/2006: New York Jets sign first round draft pick Nick Mangold
There are certain players that are universally loved by all Jet fans. Wayne Chrebet was one of those guys. Joe Klecko was one of those guys. And Nick Mangold is one of those guys. I cannot imagine a Jet fan who is not thrilled to root for Nick.

In order to add meaning to my miserable existence, I have responded to a call from above (or in this case Buffalo) to spread the word of the Bing. In order for these lessons on the history of this great franchise (ok maybe sometimes really close to great but never quite getting back to great for over 45 years) to reach the broadest audience possible, we are placing the day's update on the main board. The prior days will be isolated in the Bing thread (now renamed as the Lith thread). |

Lith - history was made today. Jets just made one of the worst signings in their history. Setting the team back another year and taking all the excitement out of the season before training camp opened. That's historic!
