With the other site and thread closing down, let's get this one started.
First game of a Home n Home vs. Pitt. I missed the first two periods, due to operator error. Well. Forgot to DVR.... Got home at 8:45 for start of the third. What happened? 4-3 isles, I musthavemissed a good two periods.

For my first post on this site -- a salute to your first place New York Islanders. Great game tonight. The Isles played with an edge - I like the nasty streak we are seeing from Hamonic. The 4th line just keeps producing and we have a legit top goalie in Halak.

Last night, you could say we were outplayed but found a way to win. Tonight, we were the better team from the beginning to the end. If not for Greiss playing well in the first period, that could have been a much more convincing win. I love that this team is in first place without getting great production from the #1 line. Hopefully the two points tonight gets Tavares going. And, where has Sidney Crosby been the last two days? We are as deep as anyone in the NHL right now. Would like to see Johnson get going, but if my biggest complaint is the #2 goalie, I guess we are in pretty good shape.

When they made the playoffs two years ago, they were getting scoring from the other lines.
28 points, and not Thanksgiving yet? This has been fun so far. Man I hope they keep this up.
