Why were Donovan and Strait playing? I watched the shootout.....damn Frans is money. Ha, now I forget, but two guys had the flu. |

What to watch at 7? Jets or Isles? Fortunately, I had no choice but the Isles. I don't have Sunday Ticket and a bar was not an option for me last night. isles were dominant from beginning to end, but Mason was awesome last night -- either he made a great stop or we misfired on the last pass before the scoring oppy. We controlled the puck and controlled the play. Donovan actually played a solid game -- though I hope CdH & Hickey aren't out too long. One night of Donovan is ok but I don't want to see him on a regular basis. This team has gotten so much better in our own zone than last year. Another well earned two points. |

Leddy started the first playing something awful. Two glaring turnovers. Got his head out of his ass the rest of the game though.
That was a good game to watch. I'm glad I DVR'd it, only watched the first qurter of the Jest game, and then watched the full Isles game. Infinately better than watching a jets game. Honestly, I don't think I'll sit and watch a jets game the rest of the season. If it's on primetime, I might check in once in a while to see the score. Otherwise, I've got better shit to do at 1pm on Sundays.

BTW, why is Boomer such a dick? I know he's a Rags fan, and he's a bit of a mega-homer, but he was usually fair to the Isles. This morning he went off, calling the fans classless, etc. What was his problem?

Just saw that the Isles are number 1 in the espn and hockey news power rankings. What a difference one year can make....it gives me some hope as a Jets fan.

Another home and home series kicks off tonight. Isles have been on a tear, so I wouldn't be surprised to see a L.
this is a game they should probably win. This years Capitals are not the Captialls of recent years.

What's up with the lousy PK?
i fucking hate PKs where a team just stands around. Drives me nuts. I've seen better aggressive PKilling on Ivy league teams.
