Hey, at least we got the pecker pictures scandal (2nd only to to the Target tugger) to keep us laughing through the pain.

I still have no idea why Shotty had an injured Farve throw a million times against a shitty Seattle team in the snow. We should have ran the ball down their throat. I did love it when Ellis threw the giant snow ball at fans. Because he's a moron

Had Favre stayed on in 09-10, we'd have our trophy....no doubt about it

I loved it. Bought a Favre jersey as soon as they announced it. Then i was in boston on my way to a bar week one and some bitchpunk flats fan in a Brady shirt tries to talk shit and I LOL and say oh yeah, we'll see bud. 2 hours later Brady is writhing around on the ground holding his knee. One of my favorite jerseys.

Yea....as I recall Favre was hurt for that game, the weather sucked in Seattle and Favre shudda been benched.... But no, he had to keep his precious streak going..... That game killed us. 8-3 finishing 9-7.. It fucking gives me a stomach ache again, just typing this.... as i recall, jones was having a monster game rushing and then schitty decided to have favre throw. favre was injured and couldn't get anything on the ball. imo schitty lost that game for removing the hot hand. it cost mangini his job.

The Seattle game really stuck in my craw....best parts of that season was hanging 50+ on the Cardinals (Bolidin broken face game, Favre 6 tds), beating NE in overtime then beating the undefeated Titans the following week. I remember the Broncos game. Coming off of two huge road wins -- in Tennessee and New England - coming home against the Broncos. Rainy afternoon, controversial fumble return for TD. I think it was Cotchery fell on the fumble, was clearly touched down, but a Bronco DB pried it loose and went for a TD. 7-0 Denver -- that play kind of set the tone for the rest of the season. Ugh, don't remind me of that game. I thought I repressed that memory.. Brandon Lloyd killed us in that game, no? Revis' rookie season IIRC... man, i felt the tide shift with that one. Something about the way we fell flat in that game was foreboding. The bubble popped.

I was so pumped when we got Favre, and how we started the 08 season.... Then the wheels fell off, in accordance with the prophecy.... So Jets!!! Great update again Lith. The Seattle game really stuck in my craw....best parts of that season was hanging 50+ on the Cardinals (Bolidin broken face game, Favre 6 tds), beating NE in overtime then beating the undefeated Titans the following week. i firmly believe schotty is the one responsible for this loss. thomas jones was running all over but schotty chose to have favre throw the ball, in a friggin freak snowstorm!. i also believe schotty was trying to back stab mangini. it great that he has amassed such success after leaving the jets.

i don't think i ever realized how good favre actually was until i heard him at an after game presser. it was amazing to hear him describe the plays and where everyone and why he throwed to this person or that. it is too bad that the jets weren't able to move past altlanta instead of choosing nagle. and then it was sadder that they couldn't trade for favre before he went to green bay.
great qb. brady wishes he was that good.

I loved the Favre year - if only because I got a small taste of what it was like to have a larger than life QB on your team... Where anything is possible ...with that said, the low lights late in the year against sea and den were some of the hardest games to watch unfold, this side of Penny's noodle arm

We also wouldn't have traded up for Sanchez and probably would have taken Harvin who worked really well with Farve in Minny.
