The only reason race hasn't entered the discussion is because the assailant was black, the victim was black and the HC was black. But Idzik is white. So fuck him! John Idzik should really be in jail for this. Honestly, I was relieved it was a black dude that punched him. Manish would have a field day writing racist stories about the Jets. Yeah, I was sure it was Mangold when I saw the headline...then I thought "Decker"......and it all made sense.

Are any of Idzik's 50 picks gonna stick around?
They're all dropping like flies here

Nice find. Fuck i dont think we are on instagram. Bing Our first Instagram post should be a picture of Brett Favre's thumb. You know, the one he sent to Jenn Sterger. Or Geno's "Thumb", the photo he sent to that girl ... probably the only thing Geno has in common with Favre.

Not a fan of Geno but I did want Genope to prove me wrong so there's that.
Even though IK deserves to be cut, I am more upset about Enemkpali's long-term loss to the team. Yes, he is a hothead but he was having a good camp, the Jets had invested time in him, that kid if he kept his head straight might have lasted longer on the Jets than Geno Smith.

‘Smug’ Geno Smith goaded his sucker-puncher: witnesses
It started with a dare.
Ryan Clark, an NFL analyst for ESPN, gave a blow-by-blow Wednesday morning of how the drama between Jets quarterback Geno Smith and now-former reserve linebacker IK Enemkpali unfolded after speaking with two players who were in the locker room.
Smith “put his fingers” in his teammate’s face before he was sucker-punched, sustaining a broken jaw that will sideline him for at least six weeks.
“These guys were in each other’s face,” Clark said on ESPN’s radio show “Mike & Mike.” “Geno put his finger in his face and told the guy, ‘Well, you’re not going to do anything about it.’”
He was wrong, as the tough-guy comments caused Enemkpali to knock Smith to the ground with a single punch. The trouble started when Enemkpali laid out $600 for Smith to travel to a football camp in July. Weeks went by and he didn’t get reimbursed.
“It became about the fact that Geno wasn’t necessarily apologetic and being in a way remorseful about the money when saying he was going to pay IK back and he didn’t,” said Clark, a former safety with the Steelers, Redskins and Giants. “He was rather smug about it.”
Clark knows from his own dealings with Enemkpali that the hulking 24-year-old doesn’t mess around when it comes to his money.
“This guy is really tight about money, he really is,” Clark said. “He couldn’t

I know i have been advocating for the Jets to move out of town, I'm just afraid no city will want them. Here's how I see it going (again, replacing Arizona Cardinals, with Jets here):

I'll be honest, Revis did not sound that endorsing of glass jaw Geno at all. He made it sound like the locker room HAS to welcome him back and gave me the feeling that the veterans don't want to put their trust in glass jaw Geno when they were depending on him and he put the team in jeopardy with wasted practice time and such... Not a good thing.

If this is what Geno has to do, so be it, that should be the case for any player, not just Geno. Richardson too, you fuck up, compromise the team, you earn your way back.
I don't think this issue with Geno is all on him, but obviously, something should have been handled better, or, IK really did just flip out. When the comments we've heard that it "came out of no where" that to me means this was something that even surprised Geno.
