You need to give the bone matrix a chance to start meshing before jarring it. Unless he stands perfectly still while throwing it there is going to be some shock yeah I guess the plates are doing that work for him and preventing the jarring so on second thought he should get back in there

Yes but the NHL shell has an elongated chin guard and is no wears near the tightness a helmet you can't fuck with NFL helmets as much. Paperface has 4 1/2 weeks to recover before the season opener. My only point is that he should be able too practice full speed with very minor limitations and some hockey players come back from a broken jaw within days to play a full contact sport. Here's another link for the Isles Cizikas. Dude missed one game and centers their fourth line. www.newsday.com/sports/columnists/arthur-staple/casey-cizikas-feels-he-let-himself-down-this-season-1.7620913 You're telling me, that's not what the topic was plus hockey is a different game. Players might want to avoid the player with the jaw you don't want Vukota breaking yours. Most hockey players play unless their toes get caught in a lawn mower.

It's fun to say "Bone Matrix". What a jaw-dropping month this has been. Can always rely on the Jets to come out of no where and hit you with crazy news. I'm sure Geno will be back to practice quick and jawwing off and japing at players in no time once again. Here's a webcomic about the Jets QB situation, surprisingly well done and funny. www.thedrawplay.com/

After last night idk how anyone can at least not want to give Geno a couple of weeks to show if he has improved - we're going nowhere with the current QBs. Fitz might be able to manage but that's keeping the status quo, which is suck.
Also apparently the Lions played 'I Can't Feel My Face' by the Weeknd over the PA when they announced Geno wouldn't be playing last night, which is hilarious.

Please review my earlier posts on why Geno is the worst starting QB in the NFL then go check out Fitz's career stats over at NFL.com and put your mind at ease that were a much better team with Geno gone.

For having done less even than the Jets those Lions and their lone reporter sure are big talkers

I'm well aware he has been among the worst, but its shortsighted not to at least give him (healthy) a few weeks in his third year which is typically the turning point for NFL players, under a new coaching staff, new scheme, and new offense with actual weapons. If he sucked it up by the bye week by all means let Fitz start but to not give him an opportunity and roll with the 100% known variable of Fitz from the start is assinine. Apparently the coaching staff agreed with me too because he was the undisputed starter before he got slugged.

You make reasonable points, but remember, very, very few NFL QBs have sucked to the level of Geno suckness for 2 years, and received another chance as the annointed starter in a 3rd year. There is a reason why this is the case.

But it seems the same problems that have been holding him back all along (character flaws) have now caused him to not be able to step on the field. I agree with whatever amateur psychotherapist it was that said he subconsciously made this happen in order to weasel his way out of having to be the starter and prove himself

Not with a helmet pressing on the jaw. I gave Vukota as a ref. not sure who your current muscle is always like the Isles pre Devils I was a goalie so Billy Smith was the man.
