Why not.
Do they suck as bad as the regular Famous Jets? Are they just the Atlanta Thrashers in different clothes? Falcons and Jets are kinda alike aren't they.

Technically they were named after the New York Jets. A guy named Ben Hatskin liked our name and called his WHL team the Winnipeg Jets. When they disappeared the NHL team named them after the WHL team. |
