Being handled is being pushed up and down the field on 7,8,9,10 play drives, the first drive was 3 plays, the second 4 plays inside the 10 after a penalty and off of a PR.
How long did you stay for the game?

We were being handled not trounced, not clobbered, not crushed, and they should handle us they have been together as a core for how long now? Our O has had no continuity for a long time. D will wake up, or Jets are fucked.

Wtf is goin on with Coples. He shouldn't be in coverage, he should be rushing the QB, hands on the ground. Defense hasn't been game planning heavily/at all these past two games so hopefully that changes - I can't wrap my head around why coaches keep trying him in coverage.

I would think that Bowles will realize this sooner rather than later.

Wtf is goin on with Coples. He looks about as good as any DT will look in coverage. Mr Bowles tricked me into thinking he wasn't afflicted with the same spell of Hot guy I'd like to blowation Ryan was. STOP PLAYING HIM AT LINEBACKER FOR FUCK SAKES

Looked like both Gilchrist and Jarrett were over in coverage on the other side and Coples was on an island in the flat. Coples Island -- doesn't quite sound right, does it.

Wtf is goin on with Coples. When I met Couples, They announced him and said he is equipped with an attache for business, I heard him say to himself ya I'm all business. I didn't like the way it sounded I don't think he meant football.

STOP PLAYING HIM AT LINEBACKER FOR FUCK SAKES You guys should look past the coverage gaffe of last night. I've said this for years and it still remains true; he lacks football instincts and suddenness. While his natural athletic ability and strength will allow for him to make a great play now and again, he all too often is out of position or nullified by a lesser positional player (WR or FB). I originally thought it was a lack of effort, something he was rumored to have an issue with coming out of college, but after watching him the past few years I've come to see that it is a seriously poor grasp of tactics. He will never be serviceable.

Not in college, not now. Nor should he be judged as such He needs to be playing DT in 4-3/bear/Nickel 40 front.

That escalated quickly...
Any updates on the severity of injuries for Shaq and Zo?
Ill be so sad for Shaq if he misses out another chance to compete for a role. Such awful luck.

Not in college, not now. Nor should he be judged as such He needs to be playing DT in 4-3/bear/Nickel 40 front. Why are you being such a condescending jerkoff? (rhetorical, naturally) I'm plenty educated in watching how a player performs, at least players outside of the skill positions. I've played all the positions up and down the line, both sides of the ball, even got a few awards, a scholarship and a couple of accolades from none other than Joe Klecko and Winston Hill. Coached for a bit too, before I realized I wasn't a particularly good teacher. So let's save the presumptive "you don't know what you're talking about" shit for someone you may actually personally know, k? I'll continue to do the same. What I see from Coples is a distinct lack of situational awareness coupled with an inability to diagnose plays based on the blocking schemes that are happening in front of him. A perfect example of that is last week's back to back horribleness he displayed against Detroit on the runs by Abdullah(?) wherein he failed to identify (and engage) a double pull (in front of him, across his face!!!!) and managed to instead get sealed by Golden Tate(!), not blasted, not blindsided, just sealed off. Next play he's so befuddled by the last he checks the flash of movement to his outside and instead allows himself to once again get sealed off (this time by a FB) from pursuing down the line. None of the above is judging him according to T Suggs or anyone else; it's about observing the basics, something he shows little understanding of (or willingness to do, who knows). As such, his college career has absolutely nothing to do with the conversation. But if you want to include it, please bear in mind how easy it is for players with real physical gifts to dominate on the amateur level with little use of actual skills or or tactics. If the coaches felt he would do better in any of the positions you stated, I would hope they would put him there, although I agree he usually does pretty well as a 4-3 DT.
