Tavares with Prince and Strome? Cappy really doesn't want Tavares to perform tonight, does he?

Strait out? Cappy sniffing glue? I'd much rather see Pulock get some time over Strait. Strait sucks.

This moron coach needs to ride Greiss like a dirty mule until he falters. Playing Tavares with Prince and Strome exposes his ineptitude and negates Tavares ability 100%. This Prince guy looks like another heartless midget and Strome needs too be scratched every game until he feels like competing, he is easily the worst player on the ice and approaching Cumberland territory. I always had high hopes for Strome and some would say(myself) playing the wing is inhibiting his ability......but he flat out sucks dick. I hope someone punches him in the mouth.

Yeah prince, JT, and Strome? Are we trying to win games, or play high school chemisrty? Fell asleep in the first, but did Cappy mix up that line midway throu? Read the post game, isles had 5 shots thru the first 30 minutes.. on one hand, you can say this team (if they make the playoffs) is a one and done team. On the other hand, you can say Good teams find a way to win games like that. somewhere in the middle lies the truth, I guess.

Admittedly, I know little to nothing about this Prince kid, but playing him on the first line without even having a chance to practice with the team. A kid who has like 12 points on the season. Just don't get the logic. When I first heard he was paired with JT, I immediately thought of the Cory Conacher experiment. Didn't see the game last night, but I also agree with you on Greiss. The guy needs to be playing more than once out of every three or four games. Ride the hot goalie and that is Greiss right now. But enough with the bitching - another road win and Pitt losing. 3 points up on the Pens with a game in hand. 6 point cushion for the playoff spot, also with a game in hand. Team has been playing well the last few weeks. Maybe we are peaking at the right time -- unlike last year when we played our best hockey in the first half.

So who do we need to win in regulation tomorrow? Pitt or NYR? Of Course, isles need ROW tomorrow too.

Pains me to say it, but I think I would prefer the Rags win it and we increase our cushion on 4th place -- I do not want to go against the Caps in the first round.

I would go with a Halak/Halak/Greiss rotation from here on out. It actually works out perfectly with the schedule so Halak would never play in consecutive days...

Greiss in net again tonight? Wasn't expecting that. Halak against the rags on Sunday then. Hope he comes up big.

However, Islanders coach Jack Capuano will also change his first and third lines, moving Brock Nelson to the left side of the first line with center John Tavares and right wing Ryan Strome. Left wing Shane Prince will shift to the third line. Nikolay Kulemin will slide into center on the line and Anders Lee will move to the right wing.
