Bummed out because I had false hopes for this game based on our last effort. Didn't deserve too win tonight and we're still lucky at 2-2 but I'm not feeling optimistic. I agree. The Panthers are bigger, faster and better. If we could have won at home last night, there was a chance to get 1 of the last 3. I am feeling like they lost their shot at the series last night. You watch the Panthers and the way they attack the net, control the puck and control the Isles in their own end and its hard to see the Isles win 2 of 3. |

Seen this script before? Game 5 is a total blowout. Isles get smoked like 5-1. Game 6 isles squeak out, 3-2. Game 7 in FLA.... Florida moves on.

I think I played harder than Josh Bailey last night.
Agree with everyone that we were lucky to be close. Greiss was great last night.
On that last power play at the end of the game, I think it was Leddy who received the puck at the point turned and fired the puck at the net. If he just passed it to a wide open JT on the wing, I think he taps it in. It was unfortunately the one time shooting the puck was not the best option all night.

Do you have to go back to Billy Smith to find and Isles goalie with a better clutch performance in a big spot than Greiss tonight. How many huge game saving saves did he come up with. Awesome game. Just amazing.
