The hair on my arms stood on edge after that goal. It's been so long I felt like we won the cup. Yup. JT was amazing tonight and throughout the series. So many guys stepped up tonight -- Greiss obviously, Leddy with the game saving play on the empty netter and leading the rush the other way. He was the only guy able to control the puck coming out of the zone. Kulemin played his best game of the series as did KO. Total team effort. And Florida is going to be scary good as these kids mature. They are going to be a great team.

Don't tell me BigL is fucking sleeping. I'll never let him live that down.......ever!!! Oh no, still here! Basking in the replays, post-game show.... Man I was shitting myself at the start of the second OT. Florida was in control, and I was sure it would deflect off and in. what a sweet wrap around!

Hopefully he changes his mind and stays because he was terrific tonight. What happened to Bailey? Injury?

Maybe thats why Kulemin played better tonight, without Bailey on his side.

I'd be very surprised if the series goes less than 6 games. I have no idea who will win. It's a complete toss up. I guess I'll say Isles in 6 because this group is due to break through. It seems like a tight group and they know this is the last waltz for the boys of the slow and steady rebuild. Nice! Nice! Been thinking long and hard about this series. All I see are lots of ifs. If the Isles do this, if the Isles do that... Also ifs with the panthers. It's very close. Overall, I think the Lee injury will hurt more than everyone thinks. No one else is suddenly going to park in front of the net. Isles record in Florida is not good. And Panthers have home ice. A month ago, the aisles were talking about how important home ice is, because if they had it vs Washington last year, game 7 would have been a different story. Then a week ago it was all 'if you told us at the beginning of the season we'd have 92 points now, we'd gladly take it'. No mention of how important home ice was. Plus, took the foot off the pedal at the end of the season, just like last year. Pitt would have been a better matchup. Big paper tiger I think. And like RobR said, would have been the perfect 'shit or get off the pot' series. All adds up to Panthers in 6. Dumbass.

Florida in 5 games. They're bigger and better. I feel like the Isles are the guy on the right. The best Humble Pie ever. Robr is the guy on the right with his prediction.

Still can't believe it.
I was still a teenager (19) the last time I saw the second round.
Unreal.
Enjoy the night, then let's kick Tampas ass! I think they match up better with Tampa than the cats.
Love DPs suits.

Last two games. 90 shots, 88 saves. There is a new King in town.

Bummed out because I had false hopes for this game based on our last effort. Didn't deserve too win tonight and we're still lucky at 2-2 but I'm not feeling optimistic. I agree. The Panthers are bigger, faster and better. If we could have won at home last night, there was a chance to get 1 of the last 3. I am feeling like they lost their shot at the series last night. You watch the Panthers and the way they attack the net, control the puck and control the Isles in their own end and its hard to see the Isles win 2 of 3. As long as we are doing the dumbass chronicles, here is my entry.
