What am I missing about this kid? I see him being talked about as a top 10 pick in this draft. Sure he is a nice prospect, but a top 10 overall safety? I don't see it. He has decent size, but IMO doesn't have the great speed and coverage ability that makes a safety so valuable in the NFL now. For me, I like Cody Prewitt A LOT more. Prewitt has excellent size at 6'2", has better speed and coverage ability and is a really good tackler in space.

Prewitt has excellent size at 6'2", has better speed and coverage ability and is a really good tackler in space. I think he's vastly overrated too. I guess it's because he's from Alabama, but I see him as a poor mans Mark Barron. He's an in the box safety mostly and shouldn't be considered that high. Prewitt is the best safety in this drafted followed by Joseph. |
