Posted an article last week about how I think pro football focus is too highly regarded and everyone uses them as the be all and end all, especially after Rodgers got the negative number. Still! Nice to see this...
"First-round pick Leonard Williams (+8.6) has gradually raised his game over the first three weeks of the season, and put on an absolute show at Wembley Stadium. Williams more than doubled his pass rushing production for the season, racking up 10 pressures (four hits, six hurries) to go with two stops against the run in a dominating performance."
Btw! Would anyone happen to have a gif of the play Leonard Williams completely destroyed one of the lineman and got to Tannehill and almost sacked him and knocked him down? I think it was on the 4th down pass or the 3rd down. It was a turnover on downs if that helps. He destroyed that guy and almost got a sack.

He's only gonna get better and he's gonna look like a wrecking ball with Sheldon back. The defense is about to get a lot better. Nobody is going to stop our d-line, nobody.

Then i think of Coples doing his pacman ghost imitation and i die a little inside. at least maudlin is looking pretty good. coples problem is that he's always going to be out of position especially since the jets can field wilk, harrison, richardson, williams, et al as their down linemen. and coples just isn't quick enough to go into coverage as a lb. of course some of this also due to his tendency to take plays off. he can be a very good player at times.

Watching Maccagnan manage this whole Wilkerson-Richardson-Williams situation over the next 1-2 years will be interesting. Williams looks like the real deal and we already know both Mo and Richardson are studs. It will all come down to risk and money. Do the Jets truly want to extend Mo for big $$$ when they have the other two guys? Do they want to franchise Mo and potentially trade him for value? Or, are they still so concerned about Richardson's off field stuff that they want Mo and Williams longer term? It will be interesting to see how this plays out. Might be able to keep all 3 of these guys relatively cheap for another year (2016 season) by franchising Mo and still have Sheldon and Leo on rookie deals. That brings down the overall positional cost average I guess.
