This was a big-time victory for the Mets. First, Murph hits the bomb to put the Mets up 1-0 while DeGrom does his very good Tom Seaver impression(13 K's). Then David with the CRUCIAL(as it turned out) hit to get 2 more runs in with the Bases jacked.
Exciting win. Saw the graphic that 75% of teams that take Game 1 of the NLDS end up winning so a very promising start to this series for NY.

deGrom just deGrominated. 13 Ks to tie Seaver. And Murph and Wright, the two guys who have stuck with the team for years, coming through, it's awesome to see. Now close this mutha out.

Nice. I need to brush up on my baseball. If I'm a Jet fan I gotta be a Mets fan right? Although last time I went to the US I went and watched the Orioles, that was my first ever game. U most definitely do not have to b a mets fan. |

I've decided to leave this thread and leave u guys too it, who the hell am I to come on this thread and rain on ur parade. While I do not like them, the mets look good this year and just may go all the way.. Good luck (grrrr). :-)

The announcers during the game stated that the Dodgers have lost 8 straight playoff series after losing the first game.
