If the Dodgers had any semblance of a game plan at the plate the last two nights, these Mets starters wouldn't look so golden.
Neither DeGrom or Syndergaard have command on any of their secondary pitches. Any they happen to throw for a strike are hanging breaking balls and the Dodgers just watch them go by, but then swing at those same secondary pitches when they never threaten the zone low. Piss poor approach from LA through 2 nights.

What a horseshit piece of garbage call. Chase Utley CLEARLY missed the Bag and PURPOSELY went to take out Tejada.
Should be an automatic DP.

Outside of the fact that Tejada never touched the bag or would have had any chance to throw out Kendrick, take out or not. Or how about the FACT that Utley NEVER TOUCHED THE FUCKING BASE? Read this rule : Rule 7.09(e) If, in the judgment of the umpire, a base runner willfully and deliberately interferes with a batted ball or a fielder in the act of fielding a batted ball with the obvious intent to break up a double play, the ball is dead. The umpire shall call the runner out for interference and also call out the batter-runner because of the action of his teammate. In no event may bases be run or runs scored because of such action by a runner. So what happened to this rule? The Umps FUCKED THE METS OVER and made shit up as they went along.

Well that's all well and good, except Tejada wasn't the person fielding the batted ball..... The part that is fucked up is Utley being rewarded 2nd base and never touching it. That's actually in the rules, but is obviously ridiculous

^ Whatever the case, Hawk, the fact remains that the Mets GOT FUCKED OVER by the UMPS.
BTW, you should've seen Joe Torre's "explanation". Even HE didn't know the fucking rules!!!
Ragu must be breathing fire right now....

Fucking miserable night. Started at the United Center watching the Isles fail to show up against the Blackhawks. Down 3-0 in the 3rd, with 5 minutes left, Isles take two penalties and have a 2 minute 5 on 3 coming up, decided it was time to head over to a bar and catch the end of the Met game. Get their in time for the bottom of the 6th, feeling pretty good, Thor gets the double play to end the 6th. I just got a bad feeling in the 7th after the walk when I saw Utley coming up.
How the fuck does mlb award him the base. Neither he nor Tejada touch the base, but he gets awarded the base because if the right no call was made he could have gotten up and taken the base. Newsflash to mlb -- if the correct no call was made, he could have been tagged out. How can they award him the base because of something that could or could not have happened. Made no sense to me last night and it makes even less sense now.
Also, if they ruled it was a force play rather than a double play attempt so the neighborhood play does not apply, then how the fuck is Chase motherfucking Utley allowed to take our SS out if he is not breaking up a double play.
And, after all that, how in the hell does Addison Reed throw Adrian Gonzalez an 0-2 batting practice fast ball up over the plate. Yes, the Mets got screwed by a bizarre bad call, but, hey ADDISON REED, HOW ABOUT YOU GET THE LAST FUCKING OUT!!! The two pitches he threw to Gonzalez and Turner were bp fastballs up over the plate. Why not just put the ball on a tee for the Dodgers best hitters.
Fucking awful Saturday night.
And I haven't even mentioned the Bulldogs or Nick Chubb -- just glad that the jets are not playing today. Too much bad karma.
End of rant.
