With todays meaningless win we need to look forward for 2015. With our position around 5-6 I really hope Peat declares and we have our choice between him and Devante Parker. I hated the win, but it might be a blessing in disguise allowing us to MISS on these two great QB prospects. I'm not sold on either of these guys and have no problem shoring up the offense with either Peat or Parker.

Attention has to shift from the 2 QBs to the WRs & OTs. At this point, the guys to watch are Cooper/Parker or Scherff/Peat. I would prefer a WR, but would not be upset with one of the OTs. As to the blessing in disguise thing, I said the same thing to my buddy who was watching the game with me today.

Peat over Scherff......Parker over Cooper. I'm looking for future production, not possession receivers and a OT that projects to guard. Like yourself, I'm not sold on either of these QB's. Time to watch some film on Bridge and Petty.

Parker will definitely be in the conversation. I don't think it's a total stretch to say he could end up going before Cooper.

I am guessing that we would need to trade back up into the back end of the first to get him. If he is out there and we want him, I don't think we could sit and wait/hope he falls to us in the 2nd.

I agree with your premise, but I am very concerned about the starting quarterback position next year. Locker looked like dog sh!t yesterday and rumors are circulating that St. Louis will bring back Bradford.

Here's an article that speaks to everything I've been hearing regarding the Titans which could mean that this pick is likely for sale:
Jim Wyatt of the Nashville Tennessean believes the Titans would pass on both Florida State QB Jameis Winston and Oregon QB Marcus Mariota with the No. 2 overall pick in May's draft.
It sounds like the Titans are seriously considering going all-in on Zach Mettenberger as their 2015 starter. Wyatt -- one of the most trusted beat reporters in the business -- is essentially echoing a report from ESPN's Chris Mortensen, who stated Sunday the Titans were "content" with Mettenberger under center. Wyatt "can't see" the Titans using the No. 2 pick on a quarterback.
