With this view from my back window, and the snow still falling, not much better to do than stay in and watch college football. All except for about an hour or so when I have to clear the damn driveway.  Couple of games with playoff implications this afternoon, OSU v MSU. I expect a big game out of the Buckeyes, but I really want to see what Connor Cook looks like (if healthy). And Oklahoma v TCU tonight. Boykin not going for TCU, but an Oklahoma win keeps them in the playoff discussion. Both games shaping up as elimination games for the playoffs. Anyone else going to be watching? |

Best and worst of Hackenberg in one series. Draws Michigan offside with a hard count. Has no pocket awareness and takes a sack when all he has to do is step up in the pocket. Then he rifles one to his TE through a tight window on a seam route (TE dropped the pass).
7-3 Michigan in the first.

He is big and strong and has a rifle for an arm, makes one or two throws a game that few college QBs can make, but on the other 30 or so throws he lacks accuracy, has no pocket awareness, and panics when the protection breaks down. |

Florida survives. Beats 2-9 FAU in overtime. Is there a chance they could be a playoff team if they can beat Bama? I hope not.

Good defensive battle so far in this game with the weather deteriorating. Maybe the Jets draft another Dlineman in Bosa and then I proceed to blow my fucking brains out. BOOM

Maybe the Jets draft another Dlineman in Bosa and then I proceed to blow my fucking brains out. BOOM Its a shame Cook can't go. What do you think of the two OTs, Decker and Conklin? |

I wouldn't mind taking Myles Jack with our 1st round pick. I can't watch Davis out there anymore. Then maybe take Josh Garnett OG Stanford in the 2nd round, and a TE/Developmental QB in rounds 3 and 4 to battle with Petty. I also wouldn't mind trading Wilk for a 1st so we can take a top OT and Jack in the 1st plus Garnett in the 2nd. |

And unless Devin Smith shows something over the next two months, I still wouldn't mind adding a young WR to the mix. We desperately need to get younger and more athletic on the offensive side of the ball. |
