Maybe the Jets draft another Dlineman in Bosa and then I proceed to blow my fucking brains out. BOOM We'd have to lose out to have a chance at him so I wouldn't worry about it. I wouldn't mind taking Myles Jack with our 1st round pick. I can't watch Davis out there anymore. Then maybe take Josh Garnett OG Stanford in the 2nd round, and a TE/Developmental QB in rounds 3 and 4 to battle with Petty. I also wouldn't mind trading Wilk for a 1st so we can take a top OT and Jack in the 1st plus Garnett in the 2nd. Bosa does stand out but he only has 4 sacks all season playing against shitty teams. And I'm not trading Wilk for an unknown, I'd rather pay the man......it's not like we are going to have a QB eating up a significant part of our caproom for the foreseeable future.

And unless Devin Smith shows something over the next two months, I still wouldn't mind adding a young WR to the mix. We desperately need to get younger and more athletic on the offensive side of the ball. I would like this post twice if I could.

Right now though I'd rather have Jack who I think can be an elite MLB then reach for an OT. I do agree about maybe taking another WR. Marshall is great, but who knows how many years he has left, and I've never been too high on Smith.

Impressive drive for Sparty. I didn't think they would be able to hang with Ohio State, especially without Cook.

We can draft almost any position on offense, and I'd love to go offense but that doesn't mean it's the best value. Right now we're picking at 20 so most likely cross off Tunsil OT, Stanley OT, Goff QB, probably Lynch QB. I would love to take one of Treadwell WR, Coleman WR, Boyd WR at 20, but I can't see us picking a WR that high after taking Smith. Maybe if he was picked by the last regime we would, but I wouldn't bet on it. Guys I don't want in the 1st who should be available are Elliot EB, Henry RB, and Decker OT. That leaves guys like Conklin OT, Hawkins OT, Alexander OG/OT, Schell OT, Spriggs OT, Garnett OG, Drango OT, and Ifedi OT. Currently none of them jump out at me as must have players, but maybe that changes. That's why right now I'd be happy with Jack who I think can be elite, and wouldn't be available at 20 if he didn't get hurt. Hell he still might not make it our pick so it's kind of a moot point right now.

Some will get arrested, some will fail drug tests, some will have a bad pro day, and some name you never heard of will be a 1st rounder.....it happens all of the time. I've been banging the drum forever to draft offense and now we need help at every single position, except maybe center. Every fucking position. If we draft around 20 there WILL be someone worth drafting on offense. You can't rebuild our forever shitty offense by going defense again. We've already been doing that and look at the results.

Well, since Georgia sucks this year, how about a shoutout to the Penn Quakers (my undergrad -- Georgia was grad school) 2015 Ivy League Champs:

My cousin also did her undergrad there, I'm guessing around class of 2007 Monday thru Friday from 9 - 5, I am a Wharton grad. Saturdays and on football sites, UGA gets top billing. I sometimes wonder if I am the only person in the country with an Ivy League and SEC degree.

Looks like we will have a new champ this year. I thought that kick was gonna hook too quickly. Nice win for Spartans. Opens up a spot for Notre Dame &/or Big 12 Champ in playoff.

I it probably change and I'm sure there will be someone on offense that I like. However, I just really like Jack and I think he will be special or at least very good. Also it's not like MLB isn't a need. Davis is lost right now and Harris isn't getting any younger.

Sounds like Jones has made his decision and will be coming out:
