Tis the season for morons near and far to start screeching about this made-up, trumped-up assault on their rights. I think i must have about ten of these screeds on my Facebook newsline (e.g., "I Wish You a Merry CHRISTMAS!!! That's right, I Said It, CHRISTMAS!!! And I'll Go On Saying It, No Matter What The Politically Correct Terrorist Loving Nazi Police Say!!!")

Just another way for a majority group to feel victimized by having to share the public space with other people.

Just another way for a majority group to feel victimized by having to share the public space with other people. Most of the Christians I know (assuming thats the majority youre referencing) dont mind sharing. Its when others want to block stuff, the antithesis of sharing in fact, that I get annoyed.

So the evidence of the claim of a war on Christmas is:
1. Changing the name the school identifies for Christmas break although it in no way changes the break period nor prevents people from celebrating Christmas; and
2. Taking down an electronic sign specifically because it did not conform to neutral, non-religious regulations in which the message of the sign was specifically stated not to be the reason.
That's some flimsy evidence.

That's some flimsy evidence. Again I think it is all pretty silly bluster for the most part. I am not an advocate of the supposed war on christmas any more than I believe in the war on women trumped up by the left. It is just an article I saw that day. Also you think that because they "stated" that it wasn't the reason then there is no way that it was the reason?!? Seriously?!? People (on your side) never lie. Good to know. For the most part I think the "War on Christmas" is because the Christians imaginary friend isn't as dominant as he once was in America but you can't deny that there are many people that go that extra step to poke the Christian's in this regard by nitpicking a lot of displays of their faith.

I will also point out the over reaction of Christians. In articles like this one people are surprised that AtheistTV isn't airing Pro-Christmas specials? Next thing you will tell me is that EWTN doesn't have any programming supporting the Big Bang or Evolution. Expecting everyone to agree with them is exactly what takes away from any possible legitimate argument they might have. This is also the BEST advertising for AtheistTV. If I hadn't read this article I would have thought it was as imaginary as a sky god. www.washingtontimes.com/news/2014/dec/17/war-christmas-atheists-unveil-anti-christmas-tv-sp/print/

The AtheistTV channel was launched worldwide on July 29 and can be accessed via Roku set-top boxes or as a free online stream at www.atheists.tv, the release said. LOL....they seem ready to take over.
