I'm leaving the obvious out (OSU's B. Miller) because he's going to get threads of his own i'm sure. For the rest of this group, what do you folks think about their prospective futures?
Dak Prescott (QB Miss St)... NFL QB? Y/N... it's tough to just dismiss what he did this year statistically. The Tebow comparisons feel lazy. He's been an efficient passer from the pocket - but mechanically - is he too big a project?
Devon Johnson (RB Marshall).. there's talk about him being better suited for FB. I don't see it. He doesn't push piles for a guy his size. Red zone specialist maybe? He relies alot on the Oline.
T. Ervin (RB @ SJ state)... Undersized, but a better north/south runner between tackles than you'd expect. I already like him more than I liked Duke Johnson or Abdullah last year. He's got burst and a decisive running style... but is it enough, or is he purely a KR?
B. Marshall (WR/RB Ore)... Don't think he's capable of getting separation against NFL corners. Does natural receiving chops however IMO, and could be COP back, but lining up outside or anywhere but in the back field might be a dead end. Charles Sims anyone?
DJ Foster (WR/RB ARZ st)... Same story as Marshall. Better 'back than a receiver, though his receiving chops are even better than Marshall's. But is he just a 3rd down back?...
