Rex's delusional ass is sold on Tyrod Jets take Cook at #20 or go OL and grab Wentz/Hackenberg in Round 2 If we blow a 2nd rounder on Hack, Im really done. I wouldn't be against it at all I see a lot of Carson Palmer in him. He just shouldn't be rushed into action from Day 1. Give him a year or two on the bench and you could really have something. People just placed crazy expectations on the kid. Was also stuck behind a total shit OL for the last year or two.

IDK, my sister is at Penn State so I so a decent amount of him the past few years. He is just way to inaccurate for my liking.
Hard to bank on NFL success when you cant complete 60% of your passes in college.
There is no reason to take him in the 2nd with Petty here, you want to wait untill 3rd or 4th ok.
This guy screams Jake Locker 2.0 to me.

Great. Buffalo picks right before us. That'll be fun. Saw this. You could almost bet the house on Rex drafting one of the Clemsen defensive studs, Lawson, Kearse or even Alexander...

BTW... we pick 20th, Bills pick 19th. GTFO! Two more wins than them equates to only one draft placing? For finishing 10-6, we also have the lowest pick of any non-playoff team.

IF we draft a QB. Any QB, I think this is the key. Lets actually try to develop a young guy instead of throwing him in there day 1. If its Hack or Wentz or Cook -- who all could be available for us. We need to resign Fitz who is as good a hold the fort guy as there is out there, and try to develop Petty and potentially another kid we might pick up in this year's draft.

Exactly, keep Petty, and draft another guy. It's tough to find a franchise QB, so you need to at least double your odds. Also, I know I will be crucified for even suggesting it, but perhaps a year on the bench watching a QB play responsibly, learning a new offense, and understanding that his place on an NFL roster is not guaranteed has benefited Geno. Perhaps Bowles brand of tough love will help him turn the corner. Stranger things have happened.
