Ok so Burfect is a psycho... duh, we've known that for years. When Cicny drops him we need to pick him up and let Bowles do a Marshall on him.

It's too bad Miami can't hire him. Why is that? He'd be the most legit coach the'd had in for fuckin ever. Glad they hired Gase. He's a complete failure and has been forever. I'd much rather they had Lewis instead of Gase. Gase is an unknown.....Lewis is a loser.

That's s crock. Does AJ Green have discipline problems? Gio Bernard? Andy Dalton? Geno Atkins? Whitworth? Lewis should be fired, and will be, because it just hasn't worked. But to hold Marvin Lewis 100% to blame for Burfict and Jones being fuckups, despite being fuckups dating back to college, is ridiculous. He's the head coach. Maybe you can come up with another excuse for the guy because "it just hasn't worked" has been the mantra for the last 15 years. He is given an all star roster year after year (this goes deeper than tonight) and shits the bed every time. I didn't come up with a first excuse, so it'll be hard to come up with a second one. Just pointing out how absolutely ignorant it is to say it's Marvin Lewis's fault the Burfict and Jones are still undisciplined hot head morons that can't control themselves.

They both have been "problems" before but not in similar ways. Also, Marshall was behaved better this year because he decided to be. It may have helped that he appreciates Bowels, but it's still Marshall that's decided to behave, for now at least.

He is the head coach and that falls on him. Bench them and play someone else if they are so out of control. Do you think that shit would happen with a head coach that has control of his team? You call it ignorant and I call it facts. You're just giving him another excuse whether you believe it or not.

Jones and Burfict are big part of that "All star" roster he gets handed and fails with. So it's is fault he can't win with their talent, but should bench them because they are shitheads? #facts

I dont think either player was out of control.
Out of control was OBJ against Carolina.
Burfict made an aggressive error and Jones made an emotional one. It was the heat of the moment. Refs just took his season away. Asshole coach from other team allowed to menace players on the field.

Never won a playoff game with some of the most talented rosters in the NFL over the last decade and a half. #facts I'm not surprised it wouldn't sink into someone like yourself.

I'd be surprised if Lewis was fired. Mike Brown is the owner and GM. He specifically targets the Pacmans and Burficts of the world. I think Lewis does as well as you can do to keep them in. You can't collect guys like that and then blame the coach when they inevitably do something stupid.
Also, and I credit Mike Brown for this, the Bengals seem to keep things in perspective. They have 12 seasons of 10+ wins in franchise history. Marvin Lewis has been the coach for 6 of those seasons. Before Lewis, the Bengals had produced back to back 10 win seasons ONCE in their history. They currently have a run of 4 consecutive 10+ wins seasons, their 12 wins this year tied a franchise record (in a year where they didn't have their franchise QB for the last quarter of the season). And people want to fire the coach?
Mike Zimmer and Jay Gruden are both coaching playoff teams right now. The Bengals lost those two guys and kept right on rolling. Marvin Lewis has built something in Cincinnati. He lost two very good coaches and the team continued to improve.
The Bengals have never before experienced the level of sustained success that they are currently enjoying. I don't think that Mike Brown is even considering looking for a new coach. Say what you will about Dalton, he's a lot better than McCarron. They win this game if he's playing. Rex won a bunch of playoff games. Did that make him a good coach? You shouldn't get rid of a coach based on performance in a single-elimination tournanment. They've only been favored in 2 of those 7 games and in one of those (against us in 2009) they shouldn't have been. They had a +14 point differential that year, we were +112 (I remember Aaron Schatz telling Bill Simmons on his podcast that his models had the Jets as clear favorites against the Bengals and had us favored again the next week against San Diego).
Long story short, the Bengals consistently make the playoffs playing in a division with the Steelers and the Ravens. They are in the middle of the only sustained period of winning in franchise history. To fire the coach because of what happened tonight seems like a gross overreaction to me.

All those Bengals players out on the field, repeatedly getting in the faces of the refs. Coaches like Coughlin and Belidick would not stand for that crap, let alone a Lombardi or Paul Brown. While we're at it WTF was that crap with half a dozen Bengals running off the field and up the tunnel after the interception. I've never seen anything like it. They're lucky THAT didn't draw flag. The Bengals' on and off the field discipline problems have been killing them for a decade.

I mean... who didn't really think the game was over at that point?? They pulled a Jets and coughed up the ball and then proceeded on a total meltdown. Whaddyagonnado. The Fuckboros would have shit all over AJ Mcaron anyways... Now KC can go in and stomp them out again.

We would have destroyed all of these teams. Fuckity fuck fuck. What shit. Go Broncos I guess? It's Peyton vs brady in the SB without any doubt whatsoever. Too good a story line for Goodall to miss. It's the wide world of wrestling match of the century. The fix is in, mark my words, pm me with bets, I've never been more sure of anything in my life.
