How does anyone think this is a good idea? You have NO IDEA how much this will cost you. More taxes which means forced payments, at gun point and little chance of a return to a usable system when it fails. Why would you ever vote for someone that is looking to mandate buying a product that you have NO choice over, NO control over. You are eliminating competition even more than Obamacare. It makes no sense.

Bernie Sanders made something very clear tonight at a Democratic townhall event in Iowa: He wants to raise taxes. “We will raise taxes. Yes we will,” Sanders said in response to a question about how Sanders would pay for the immense cost of his single-payer health care plan, which would make government the universal insurer for every American. In the plan, Sanders calls for individuals to pay an “income-based premium.” But this is basically just another way of describing a new tax that would hit most everyone, including middle-income earners. Sanders admitted as much tonight, but also defended himself, saying that under his plan, the taxes would replace health insurance premiums. "But let me be clear,” Sanders said, “There's a little bit of disingenunity out there. We will raise taxes but we are also going to eliminate private health insurance premiums for individuals and for businesses." Even still, this would require raising about $1.35 trillion in new revenue each year—the initial cost estimate for Obamacare was a little shy of $1 trillion over a decade—under the rosiest possible assumptions. Actually, scratch that; rosy assumptions is too kind. The Sanders plan simply assumes that we’ll reduce health care spending in the U.S. by nearly a half a trillion dollars a year, without offering any details at all about how that will happen. In fact, the incredibly generous, cover-everything-at-no-cost plan it seems to sketch would almost certainly not achieve the sort of savings Sanders imagines. If anything, it would likely lead to massive increases in health care utilization and spending. It is a fantasy of easy, effortless savings that makes no attempt to reckon with the trade-offs it would inevitably require. So yes, Bernie Sanders is admitting the obvious: As president, he’d push to raise taxes. Of course he would! But even in this admission, he’s not telling the whole truth about what his health care plan would entail. I like how their scared asses leave out that it would actually end up SAVING people money on a yearly basis, as they will not be paying insurance premiums any longer and the increase will be negated and once again, save them money. Nice to leave that out. lol. Cherry picking whiners. Whoever pieced that together is tasting the fear.

Nothing they do ever saves us money. Health care costs will NEVER decrease until there is tort reform.

The system will get even worse as people will start to use the system for things that it isn't prepared to accommodate. They will also learn what it is like to wait in line behind those that don't pay a cent into the system. It isn't fear it is call LOGIC. You are just paying someone else via higher taxes on EVERYONE. Also consider that the vast amount of Americans get most of their health care premium paid by their employer. That will no longer be the case so YOUR taxes will have to cover that cost moving the cost from the employer to the consumer. So this means that the average American will inadvertently START paying for healthcare via taxes as opposed to getting it as a benefit. Taste the logic! Saying it is fear doesn't make it so. Keep trying to legislate via cool vibes rather than reason and logic.

Reason and logic tell me anyone on the planet and at the very least, in this country, deserves to be able to have health care. No matter if they are filthy rich or dirt poor. And I'm not defending obamacare because it is a shit disaster of a scam and does nothing to help people get health care other than forcing them to pay some scumbag insurance agency. And still get shit care. Fuckin a I got a cousin who can't even get a wheelchair or transport for much less than nearly 6 digits. FUCK all these bastards. At least Bernie sees the shit is still fucked and has a real plan to do something about it, unlike dumbass Trump or any other red team who simply plans to repeal... Ok THEN what?! Everyone's shit is all fucked.

Nice to leave that out. lol. Cherry picking whiners. Whoever pieced that together is tasting the fear. You better start bringing facts to the table instead of fantasy. It is shocking what you actually believe to be true. Let me tell you a little secret. The disability welfare system is full of abuse. I would put the number at 50 percent. I know people who have full medicare with the state picking up premiums for their whole family and they are collecting 2000 plus a month in disability and other cash benefits not to mention food cards worth 500 a month. Meanwhile these guys make well over a middle class salary on the side every year. But they claim to be so poor that they are even tax exempt on the money the state and government sends them. They dont know about the salary on the side. Do i blame them No. Some people are wolves they see weaknesses anywhere and they exploit them. I used to be one. Who the Fuck do you think is paying for that weakness being exploited. The poor fuck struggling to pay his mortgage working 6 days 7 days a week who one day is going to say fuck it I'm getting on the government tit too. It's how this country us dying and it's how it will die. And bernie fucking Sanders is Obamacare on steriods. Peoples lips need to be removed ever so quickly from the government's tit and forcibly. Have kids that need to eat get a fucking job. Want a place to live get a fucking job. Sick need a doctor dentist some prescriptions. Get a fucking a job. Want to eat. Get a fucking job. Otherwise get the fuck off the planet and wear a fucking rubber on your way out. The only people eligible for government hand outs are retired worked their whole fucking life old people. Disabled persons who also worked or are disabled since young adulthood and Especially veterans. Everyone else needs to suck it up like everbody else and go get a FUCKING JOB. Bernie isn't going to save you from WORKING. Oh he wants you to think that but its not going to happen. I'm a 4 time felon and i worked legitimately my whole life along the way. Even when i totally removed myself from my past buisness ventures. Was it easy. No. Did it fucking suck making less in a year then i did in a couple weeks Yeah. But I did it. And in the eyes of the state government and when applying for buisness licensing or loans no one is a fucking bigger red flag as me. But as time goes on people start taking a chance on you again, even banks. That's America opportunity for everyone. But get off your ass and earn it. You're fucking health and well being is on your parents shoulders and then yours when you grow up. Not the government's or the fucking taxpayers. We got our OWN FUCKING KIDS

You guys DO know the money to fund the health care would come from taxing Wall St speculation, right?
And FUCK Wall St. How is that even a remotely negative thing is beyond me. And still no criminal charges. And the biggest HANDOUTS in history.
Yeah, but that's all good because we "need" them amirite?

Hashman. Everyone has healthcare in this country. Poor people qualified for Medicaid. No emergency room ever turned someone away that was sick. Not even illegals. Thats against the law. This was passed under Reagan: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emergency_Medical_Treatment_and_Active_Labor_Act They could have expanded medicaid and not had 90% of the stupid shit they put in Obamacare. They could confiscate the money from Wall Street and that wouldnt even come close to solving our problems. The governments and municipalities have become addicted to revenue. You give them more revenue and they will spend it. Doesnt matter. They will just continue to grow and never have enough.

The retirement funds for almost EVERYONE in America are tied to Wall Street. Wall Street also creates investments in the future of companies who employ most of us. Don't be so naive.

Ever chat with Trump supporters? Bunch of racist bigoted bloodthirsty scumbags blah blah blah racists blah blah racism racists blah blah the democrat party platform is brutal systemic racism perpetrated on the african american community for well over half a century now. yeah, it's disguised in bleeding heart bullshit themes and programs but at the end of the day, all those things do is keep blacks exactly where they are socio-economically, where they get just enough free shit to straddle the poverty line and keep voting democrat. the fucking plantation still exists, and millions of poor blacks as well as naive idiot white liberals are too fucking ignorant to see what has been going on, in broad daylight, since FDR was in office hope and change. what the fuck has changed for african americans since the resident piece of shit POTUS came to power 7 years ago? NOTHING. he's given them ZERO tools nor opportunity to make a better life for themselves or their families -- instead all he's done is perpetuate the fucking victim mentality while trading votes for free phones and cheese wake the fuck up
