blah blah blah racists blah blah racism racists blah blah the democrat party platform is brutal systemic racism perpetrated on the african american community for well over half a century now. yeah, it's disguised in bleeding heart bullshit themes and programs but at the end of the day, all those things do is keep blacks exactly where they are socio-economically, where they get just enough free shit to straddle the poverty line and keep voting democrat. the fucking plantation still exists, and millions of poor blacks as well as naive idiot white liberals are too fucking ignorant to see what has been going on, in broad daylight, since FDR was in office hope and change. what the fuck has changed for african americans since the resident piece of shit POTUS came to power 7 years ago? NOTHING. he's given them ZERO tools nor opportunity to make a better life for themselves or their families -- instead all he's done is perpetuate the fucking victim mentality while trading votes for free phones and cheese wake the fuck up Actually a lot has changed for blacks in America. Unemployment has gone way up as has victimhood. I haven't heard of one positive honestly.

Since 1964, when LBJ, on the coat tails of the white supremacist Kennedy family, stated that we would end poverty in our lifetime, little has changed.
Drive through a public housing project and ask how anyone thinks thats a solution.
If ANY group of people have 65 percent of their births to unwed mothers under the age of 21, the results will be very easy to predict. Just look at WV and Kentucky. Poor, uneducated white trash that live off govt.

Exactly. This isnt a white or black thing, although the Dems always try to make it about race. There are plenty of white trash living in the sticks that never get out of poverty either. Of course there are many that try and the uphill climb might be too much, but there are also far too many that learn to live the welfare lifestyle and have no desire to get off it.
It all needs to be cleaned up. It all needs to be improved. It hasnt worked. Nobody is saying we should stop giving help but we need to change things up. A half-century is enough of a sample size. If we got rid of the leeches that dont need the help we could probably give more to the people that really need it. Just an idea.

Reason and logic tell me anyone on the planet and at the very least, in this country, deserves to be able to have health care. That would be emotion telling you that. Reason and logic would tell you that resources are limited and needs/wants are limitless and economy must determine allocation of resources in one form or another. That's reason. Emotion is more like, "look at all those poor peeples! We gota do something to help all the poor peeples!!!" Words mean things.

The media are circling the wagons around their girl. Starting to ask Bernie for specifics and questioning what his proposals will cost. Hes getting the treatment Republicans usually get.
Tonight's debate might not be the pillow fight the previous ones have been. Might actually tune-in.

They steal more money than they spend on healthcare. And doing what Bernie suggests will actually save money, but knock yourself out. Doesn't fuckin matter anyways because they just confirmed no matter what, Hillary bought her way in and it doesn't matter that the public is clearly and strongly voting against it. I really hope all of you lose your savings and have to try to rely on these "handouts" you hate so much. Truly I do.

What you don't seem to grasp is "we", the middle class that are working all day to put food on the table and a roof over our family's' heads, are paying for those "hand outs". Where exactly do you think the money is coming from? We would like the luxury of actually having a savings but instead we feed an ever hungry government that takes and takes and never has enough. You are right, they are stealing money and want to steal more and you are supporting that idea. For example the never ending story of failing roads and infrastructure that we pay gas tax towards but they spent the money elsewhere and then beg for more money as though they haven't been given any.

Where do you think the money is going?! Because it's NOT food stamps... and the rest of the welfare is a joke. It all goes to Corporate welfare and "defense" and lifetime salaries of ex politicians with the best health care on earth, free of charge. On the house. One visit to their doctor probably costs more than an entire family welfare for a full year, but yeah, I get ya.

You fuckin weigh those costs and it will mirror the wealth of the 1% vs everybody else. But the "hardworking" white man knows that's just conspiracy BS. Right?

Really, there is literally only one person in all of politics looking out for the middle class... and he's a "Democratic Socialist" who they are terrified of because they can't see the big picture. Sorry, it's true. But that's irrelevant anyways because the DNC announced that no matter what Hillary is the paid for nominee. As Harry Reid put it earlier- "Should be fun!"

And doing what Bernie suggests will actually save money, but knock yourself out. adding additional layers of administration always lead to cheaper and more efficient services.

Sorry, it's true. But that's irrelevant anyways because the DNC announced that no matter what Hillary is the paid for nominee. As Harry Reid put it earlier- "Should be fun!" He is not looking out for the middle class. He is playing on philosophies that sound good until you put the slightest thought into them. I agree with you no one is looking out for the middle class but MORE government is never the answer. I'm not terrified because I know I am smart enough to play the game and win no matter what the rules are. I am just concerned that our country will never be the same again. One thing I will add is that I don't believe our way of life is long for this world anyway. Automation is going to replace most workers within the next 50 or so years. By 2100 you won't even recognize society.

You have yet to give more details than "feel the bern" and "you are afraid". How about you shed some light on how Bernie's plans will save money given the obvious issues of supply and demand and the real life examples of every socialist country falling apart.

tl;dr :If I could put the economics of Bernie Sanders into a nutshell, it would be this: Burden private enterprise with one directive after another, and then demonize it when it ultimately falls down under the awful weight of taxes, higher costs, and mandates. While many people believe that instituting the Sanders economic agenda would help turn the USA into another Sweden or Denmark, the more likely outcome would be turning this country into another Venezuela mises.org/library/economics-bernie-sanders
