What is the point of having so much money that it's literally impossible for you to spend it all? Philanthropy, legacy, leaving it for family, creating your own space program. All better than giving it to the fucking government.

That's how they buy off politicians and control the government for their own best interests. You think most of those people made their money legitimately? Lmao.

Everything I suppose. I guess it's the difference between a heart surgeon and a guy like Martin Shkreli.

money is not a zero-sum game. The wealth that exists on the planet in not the same amount of wealth from 100 years ago. Not the same as 50 years ago. 10 years.

It's the members of the illuminati bumping each other off. The Bildibergs and the Rothchilds battling for all the marbles. THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE!!!!1!!!!

What you don't get, is we're not defending "that shit". We are simply stating what the laws of economics mean. There's no way of making gravity more fair. The laws of nature that govern how many resources are available don't change. What changes is impositions placed on the productive members of society and how easy or hard it is to bring goods and services to market. (because the goods, not money, is the true "wealth of nations") Money is just a place holder, allowing specialization of trades and supplying more goods available to more consumers (higher standard of living)
When you start queering the marketplace, you impede such production. You have a problem with the wealth and influence of corporations? Well where do you think their wealth and control comes from? Who gave them the special privileges and liability limitations? The government did. At the expense of your rights on a level playing field. So now what, your plan is to hand more control over the entity that created the problem in the first pl,ace and hope against hope that they'll be the ones to fix it, right? That's analogous to Dr. Frankenstein convincing the villagers that the only way to defeat the Monster is to hand the good Dr. more money, power and control. It's insanity.
