When you start queering the marketplace, you impede such production. You have a problem with the wealth and influence of corporations? Well where do you think their wealth and control comes from? Who gave them the special privileges and liability limitations? The government did. At the expense of your rights on a level playing field. So now what, your plan is to hand more control over the entity that created the problem in the first pl,ace and hope against hope that they'll be the ones to fix it, right? That's analogous to Dr. Frankenstein convincing the villagers that the only way to defeat the Monster is to hand the good Dr. more money, power and control. It's insanity. Well obviously that's not ideal, but these venomous traitors to the planet and human life have left very little choice. Unless they plan on around 1,000 or so ppl to inhabit the planet... something needs to be done yesterday.

Unless they plan on around 1,000 or so ppl to inhabit the planet... something needs to be done yesterday. ...but it's not as tragic as some make it out to be. More people have seen an increase in standard of living not seen before on the planet. Love 'em or hate 'em, GMOs are producing more and more food. Sturdier crops. Higher yields. Hunger is becoming less prevalent. It's not like some multi-billionaire is going to eat the equivilant of a million people. life expectancy is higher than ever. Communication is becoming instantaneous worldwide. Health care has seen improvement upon improvement. Perhaps the rate isn't as fast as some might like to solve all the worlds' problems, but bitching is always easier than solving. By any possible meaqsure, human life on this planet has never been better for more people than it is today. And that is thanks to the profit-motive and the freedom of open markets to motivate people to work hard to bring products and services to other people that enriches their lives. For those products, they receive compensation that they turn around and hand to other producers. When you take and add a counterfeit currency to the pool of money (which is competing for the goods and services avail on the market) you drive prices up for the goods avail. The money I'm talking about that is counterfeit, is such because it enters the market without an off-setting good or service to accompany it. It's just some worthless fucking paper. Nobody iis going to eat it, or drive it, or fuck it or sleep on it. It's just a tool to get all those things. If the money just magically *poof* exists, then the ledger is unbalanced, and the value represented needs to be deducted from the legitimate dollars also existing in the marketplace. This, ultimately, is the failure of all redistribution scams. It plays upon the (quite natural) urge to desire a 'fair deal' for all. Regardless (or irregardless, for Bernie fans) of what economic system you put in place, there will always be winners and losers. Every system has exploits. The one thing they don't all have is a proven track record of successfully raising standard of living like capitalism has. (actually "free markets" , but that's anopther topic altogether)
