Sure didn't expect this. As the day started, I assumed we would be seeing Yo join Murph in DC. Nice job by the Wilpons and Sandy. 3 years is not too bad.

That's how you handle negotiations. It's easy to throw $100 - $180 mil contracts around to get players.... this was "Masterful" business accumen by Sandy.
Keeps the team in the playoff picture and allows financial flexibility in the future to sign our young pitchers!

No matter what order you bat them, the Mets have a legit ML talent at pretty much every position, and a pretty decent bench with Flores, Lagares, DeAza. Id like to upgrade at first, but that upgrade is working his way up from the minors as we speak.

Hey guys! I used to post so many Mets threads at the old JI. Can we make this thread a thing this season? Im very excited. Already bought a ticket package with some friends and even gonna drag my gf to a game or 2.
Concerned about the pen. I think Robles could step up but to expect the same year out of Familia is risky. Wish we wouldve been agressive on Chapman. Other than that,I love the lineup and bench. Rotation looks ok too haha
