My WR sleeper is Marquez North. Great size, speed, highly recruited, and he had a great day today. Probably could get him in the 5th-6th round. saw his name pop a couple times. Good for him.

Boyd looked delicious out. Higgins to a lesser degree too. I was impressive overall with Doctson too. i haven't given him enough credit, thought he looked too slow too often. I was really disappointed with the WRs today. I knew it wasn't a great group, but damn. Doctson looked good as did Shepherd. I wish we had a spot for Shepherd in our offense, but with Decker in the slot we don't need him. Coleman was also impressive despite not running the 40. Nelson Spruce and Duke Williams solidified themselves as UDFAs. Williams already has a ton of red flags and ran in the 4.7s. Anddddd De'runnya should have to change his name after running a 4.85 and 4.90.

A couple of years ago I remember Duke being thought of as a 1st rounder when he was tearing up the SEC and now he looks like a preferred UDFA. Crazy. Definitely not many WR1 types in this draft or speedsters but I think you can get some solid players in the later rounds even though the pickings are slim.

After watching the QB's I wish we were in a better position to grab Wentz. He makes everything look easy and is my favorite QB prospect in years. Lynch needs a lot of work and had some red flags on his medicals, so I'm not sure how I would feel with him at 20, I'll leave that up to our FO but I could get on board because with time he could pan out. Cook stinks. On almost all of his deep throws the WR had to pull up for the ball and his arm strength is not a question mark......it's bad. Never liked the ball he throws. Besides the big 3 I'd pass completely on the position although Prescott and Allen looked decent they scream career B/U, the rest were garbage. I can't speak to the medicals, but the notion that Lynch's footwork ought to make a questionable pick @20 is a too drastic IMO. I can't count the number of high caliber QBs who's footwork needed refinement. It's doesn't change what makes his him an attractive prospect, he was always going to need a year in the farmhouse. As with all of the QBs in this draft. If Wentz had to start year 1, his footwork wouldn't save him.

I've warmed up to a couple, and feel like there's a decent handful of career #2's, but not a lot of mystery or clay to work with.

If I told you he had a red flag on both knees and floating bodies in his throwing shoulder would you feel different? I'm leaving this one up the FO because I'd have no problem if they decide to grab him at 20 and trust them. Macs seems like the real deal and he obviously works hard, lets hope he makes the right decisions.

I'm liking what I'm seeing out of Yannick Ngakoue. He looked very fluid in the drills and ran well. He could be our be our solution at OLB if Spence goes before 20. Hopefully I have time this week to watch more of his tape.

A small school edge player who is having a very nice combine is Matt Judon.

One guy I liked today was Deion Jones out of LSU. Ran a good time, looked fluid in the drills and would be a good fit for us. I'll have to watch some of his tape later.
Edit: Not overly impressed. He gets swallowed up by lineman and misses a bunch of tackles although he looks decent in coverage.

I read a blurb today that was the complete opposite of Mayock regarding Lynch's "performance" at the combine. Just goes to show you, at this point, it's anyone's guess. For every time Mayock was bang on, he was also hard in his pants over several Gabberts.
