Lions have other needs than picking Elliot. They have to replace Megatron & upgrade that o-line to be specific. Colts are the only team I'm worried about. Unfortunately (for us), I don't think Elliot's stock will be impacted by teams having burned picks on the likes of Abdullah, or Oak's Murray. Last year everyone that STL's Tre Mason was a revelation going into the 2015 draft. *Bam* Gurley. You could safely write off a couple like the first 3-4 teams, and others like CHI, NOS and BUF... but i'd say there's all kinds of possibilities for Elliot... BAL, MIA, TB, NYG, OAK PHI to name a few. The sad truth

Bump for Darron Lee. I have Scott Frost, James Brown type hate for this player. All these Buckeye busts are another reason I hate them. The only ones I really liked coming out were Mangold and Bosa. Such an overrated college team. I saw Darron Lee's video on the team site where he said "We're not far off". I know he's trying to be positive but dude you're not far off from being off this team.

If anything we should've made a move to trade up for Conklin. Arguably the best RT in the league not even two years into his career.

Bump for Darron Lee. I have Scott Frost, James Brown type hate for this player. Yup, we were both accurate in our scouting of him. Lee is a very good player moving forward and attacking the LOS. Anything else is a complete wasteland.

If he is very good attacking, then how can the coaching staff exploit his strengths and utilize that? He's not good at anything and never was......see my above posts. He's a guy that tests well with speed but still has no instincts or feel for the game. He routinely gets spun around in coverage and gets washed out in the run game. There is timed speed and game speed and he's never had the latter. He's another product of an overhyped OSU program were the sum is greater than the parts.

He's the Kyle Burnt Toast Wilson of LBs. He's worse. That's because he also has to play the run, but seriously his coverage is Wilsonesque. He's either nowhere near his man or he has tight coverage and doesn't turn his head around. Then people try and say we'll he's good he had a tight coverage, yet every pass is completed against him.

I can't think of any positive attributes in Lee's game.

Then his speed is a killer. He plays like someone that runs a 4.9 forty because he has no instincts. Duly noted above.

The who do you not want us to draft thread in 2016 makes me cry and smile at the same time. Almost everyone had Lee and Hack on their list. It was so perfect. That thread sums up the Jets.

Yup, we were both accurate in our scouting of him. Lee is a very good player moving forward and attacking the LOS. Anything else is a complete wasteland. If he is very good attacking, then how can the coaching staff exploit his strengths and utilize that? Part of the problem is the nose tackle (McLendon). McLendon is supposed to be tying up OL so that the ILB can shoot gaps. McLendon played like absolute dogshit, thereby allowing the OL to get to the second level and take Lee out of the play. The staff can either have Lee sit back and analyze what is going on in front of him or they can just tell him to attach a pre-determined gap. They are better off doing the letter because he takes too long to diagnose plays.
