Where is the production? Everyone seems to love the guy but I'm getting an Aaron Curry, Dion Jordan vibe here. I could care less about all of his offensive stats.
1 sack in his career, his tackle and tackle for loss stats do not jump out at all.

He's my #1 player in the whole draft. he's in play anywhere after CLE @2
You're saying you've watching his games and don't think he jumps off the tape?

Elite awareness and instincts, covers like a safety, is constantly around the ball...
He's going to go in the Top 8-10
But he's exactly what we need in the middle of our LB corps

Dion jordan was the hot stuff becasue he can cover like a safety. What position is this dude going to play? He doesn't have the tackles or tackles for loss that guys like Kuechly or willis had. He has almost no sack stats at all. If he is so great and so active where are the stats to back it up? Where are the sacks? Where are the tackles for loss?

There are some concerns. Like you said he doesn't have a ton of tackles for loss or sacks, but part of that is because UCLA dropped him in back into coverage a lot. Also 2013 was his first year at LB so he's still learning the position. For instance he needs to get better at diagnosing plays. Right now he just flies in there like a missile looking to hit the first person he sees. I'm confident that that a good defensive coach like Bowles can correct that. He also seems like a bright kid so I'm not worried. Outside of that there's a lot to get excited about. As others have mentioned he's a great athlete and his ability to cover RB, slot WR, and TE's is huge in today's NFL. in 2014 he held Nelson Agahlor to 3 catches for 24 yards. Not many LBs could do that. He's also great in space, a solid tackler, and can make plays on the ball. Putting him next to a thumper like Harris would really let him shine. Let Harris do the dirty work and have Jack shoot the gap.

Doesn't sound like he will make it to the Jets in any case but these great athletes who were asked to do certain things in college and then get projected to do a lot more in the NFL are iffy or at least there has been a number of cases like the ones I mentioned.

Every single draft person and nfl evaluator loves him to bits I know that. They also keep bringing up his play at Rb and safety which means nothing at all. I'm still looking for a reason for his lack of production for such a dominant active player.
