March 24, 2014
After losing 6 players to free agency in the previous offseason (Yeremiah Bell, Mike DeVito, Shonn Greene, Dustin Keller, LaRon Landry, Matt Slauson) and only signing 2 (Mike Goodson & Antwan Barnes) the Jets are awarded 4 comp picks in the 2014 draft: a 4th rounder and 3 6th round picks.
2 of those 4 picks remain on the roster today: Dakota Dozier and Quicky Enunwa. Dozier is still an unkown, but Enunwa has become a regular part of the rotation as WR. He may not be a star, but still not a bad return for a late 6th. As for the other two picks: IK Enempkali, he of the famous right cross and Tajh Boyd, a wasted "Rex" pick out of Clemson.
Ugh, that 2014 draft. 12 players and only:
1 starter (Pryor) 1 Regular contributor (Enunwa) 1 Special Teamer (Reilly) 3 Unknowns (Dozier, McDougle & Amaro) 6 guys no longer on the team (Saunders, Evans, George, Boyd, Enempkali, Dixon).
One of the main reasons why we have so little depth on the roster right now.

yep, that and the 2012 draft. i think amaro will show something this year. he's allegedly a te but he can also be a pretty large receiver. mcdiugle needs to stay on the field. dozier is good depth.
