March 26, 2012
The Jets introduce Tim Tebow, their new back-up QB, to the media in a press conference held in Florham Park on this day, March 26, 2012. More than 200 reporters and 36 TV camera crews were on hand for the presser, which had to be held in the end zone of a training field in the Jets field house due to the size of the turnout. Tebow was left on his own to meet the throng of journalists, as Woody Johnson, Mike Tannenbaum and Rex Ryan were all attending the NFL League meetings in Florida. "First and foremost, I've always said that I'm a football player first, and then a quarterback. But that's always been my dream and what I've wanted to be is a quarterback," he said, adding: "I'm excited to be a Jet and help this team in any way that I can in whatever my role is, and if I can expand that role, I'm going to try to do that." As for Coach Ryan, even though he was not in NJ with Tim for his introduction to the NY media, he still commented on his new acquisition, "I don't see Tim just holding a clipboard," Ryan told reporters in Florida. "He's going to be playing for us. There is no doubt. There won't be a better Wildcat quarterback in the game. Is that his only role? I don't believe that. We'll see." Source: ESPN.com & NY Daily News

One of the most angry days of my life. Really did unrepairable damage to my feeling about the jets
