Over the weekend, over 200 people were killed in Ethiopia and over 100 children abducted
Where are the news stories and the "superimpose the Ethiopian flag over your Facebook profile pic" campaign?

Honestly I know little of Ethiopia other then it is on the African continent, could be that others are as ignorant as I on the subject, I doubt that the press has much for resources there. What happened, who, what, why, when, and how?

This same meme-type of knee jerk reaction happened over a bombing in Nigeria(?) after the Paris attacks; the unsaid implication that it was racially (un)motivated. Naturally, those putting forth this passive-aggressive outrage were more than intelligent to realize that most people who do that flag thing also post stuff about Mark Zuckerberg awarding some schlub millions of dollars if they just paste <insert status> on their page. In other words, we spit out what we are fed, so obviously the cook (MSM) didn't feel it appropriate to place this on the menu. But by all means, get all frothy with outrage for the poor Ethiopians.

Ethiopians might be dead last on the list of things I care about.
Maybe they should evolve and stop living in mud huts. And while they're at it, stop fucking like bunnies and producing a litter of kids when they can't even take care of themselves.

it was probably the work of the islamo's. not kidding either. what people don't seem to realize i there is a huge connection between islam and slavery. as a matter of fact, the slaves that were transported here and brazil were probably rounded up by arab muslims. and even toady most of the slave trading is done is the islamic countries.

I'm just fascinated about what people care about. Or the media cares about I guess. Not frothy with outrage, just kind of depressed.

Maybe when Barack is done dining with commie dictators and sticking his nose where it doesnt belong in England he will find some time to use his bully pulpit to discuss the plight of people that look like him outside side of police brutality.
