Maybe when Barack is done dining with commie dictators and sticking his nose where it doesnt belong in England he will find some time to use his bully pulpit to discuss the plight of people that look like him outside side of police brutality. There is a finite amount of things the public cares about, this is about the media shoveling us what we want. Sound bites and outage. I only claimed that he could help shed light on it and that would help make it a bigger story. He is the leader of the free world after all. And like I said before the media shows us what we want to watch. Ratings = money. But there are some exceptions. And Obama is one of them. That is my point. And if Trump gave a speech about Ethiopia they would cover it to. The bathroom thing is a media created story. I know what you are trying to say and I agree with you but this specific case doesnt really help support your point. Nobody would know if it wasnt for the media and since the media is left-wing that story hit a chord with them. And Obama has talked about the tranny bathroom thing which has even made it a bigger story. And Trump has spoken about it as well making it an even bigger story. But to answer your overall question of this thread, yes, nobody gives a shit about Africa. It is pretty sad. And I think allowing parts of Africa to stay a hundred or so years behind the rest of the world is going to come back to bite us a lot sooner than global warming is. |

The transgender crowd is perhaps what 1/10th of 1 percent? The acceptance of "gay Lifestyle" in this country is at an all time high. Heck NO ONE cares that Appples CEO is gay. Yet.... we think its totally OK to allow a man in a womens locker room? OK. My daughters are fully grown but if I had an 8 year old, in a womans locker room or bathroom and some 6-2 guy walked in I might feel differently. But I really look to Cher and Bruce for how I should raise my kids. |

I have a 11 year old daughter and a 8 year old son. This bathroom stuff is just stupid all around. NC wasting everyone's money and time for a stupid law that no one cared about, well except a few politicians who think it will get them re-elected. As a parent you have to be aware of your children's surroundings at all times and creepy people are creepy no matter what their sexual orientation may or may not be. My daughter doesn't go anywhere, especially an public bathroom without a friend or adult. This law is catering to Trump followers and it's embarrassing.
