He was a 3rd round pick of the Jets in the 1988 draft. He started 111 games in 7 seasons as a Jet before moving on to KC for 6 years. He finished his career in 2001, playing 1 game that season with the Oakland Raiders.
James is currently Head Football Coach of Franklin High School in the Seattle area.
